Did win a minor point-to-point on soft ground, so every chance of handling conditions, has shown promise on both hurdles starts but worryingly hasn't been seen out for a year. Form gives him a chance, but clearly not one for maximum faith in.
Some promise in two bumper starts but even better on hurdles debut at Wetherby last month, running on nicely for second and splitting a pair of improvers. Should handle the ground and looks a big player here.

Second in heavy ground in a Limerick bumper, so won't mind how bad the ground gets, but an early unseat at Down Royal last time is hardly helpful. Yard can land a punt so market the best guide to his chances.

Third at 100-1 in a maiden hurdle here last time out but the form is weak and it was on much quicker ground. However, at least has scope for improvement and gets a bit of weight so could do a little better.

Low grade handicap hurdler that's already fully exposed as very moderate, and hard to see her getting anywhere near the principals here.

Forecasts

Schiehallion Munro (5/4), Flemens Story (2/1), The Big Galloper (7/2), Alice Lisle (18/1), Millrose Bell (100/1)

Verdict

The Big Galloper has to be monitored closely in the market given the weakness of this race and the fact the yard can land a gamble, but preference at the moment is for SCHIEHALLION MUNRO, who showed plenty of promise at Wetherby and wouldn't need much more to take this. Flemens Story will give this a go from the front but has an absence to overcome, and he may be vulnerable late on.
  1. Schiehallion Munro
  2. The Big Galloper
  3. Flemens Story
