Useful hurdler/chaser at her peak, won't mind the underfoot conditions and might well have needed recent outing at Chepstow to blow the cobwebs away, Takes a drop in grade too, and with this easier task, may well go close if she stays.
Getting the hang of things over fences and went quite close when second to Reverant Cust at Catterick last time. However, this trip and ground together are far from certain to suit and on that, others make more appeal.
No problem with this trip, stays it well but recent form is leaving plenty to be desired and no saying the ground will help his cause either. On balance, not hard to look elsewhere for the winner.
Frustrating type that often travels well into his races but often finds less than expected when let down, as demonstrated by the fact he's finished second four out of his last five starts. Conditions fine but may need this after absence.
3m winner over hurdles in April but form since then has been a downhill slide, and he was pulled up when never in the hunt at Hexham last time. Wellbeing in question and others readily preferred.
Forecasts
Socksy (85/40), Travertine (11/4), Lac Sacre (9/2), Braavos (9/2), Late Date (6/1)
SOCKSY was a winner last time she was in this grade and with concerns over all four of her opponents, can get back to winning ways. She should stay this trip, especially as the track doesn't place too much on stamina. Lac Sacre has a habit of finishing second and that may well be the case again here. Braavos may be best of the rest.
