Has improved this season with the benefit of a breathing operation and followed Chepstow win with a creditable third here last week. Slight step up in trip should suit and not without a chance.

Struggling this term but plenty of form from last season which would put him in the mix and cheek pieces added today which could benefit him.

Seemingly best effort when second at Sandown in March but only three finished that day and needs to improve for the tongue tie. First run since wind surgery.

Sole win since 2015 was in a seller and that was over a year ago. Now in the veteran stage and first time cheek pieces need to inspire though has gone well after a break in the past.

Won a good ground Bumper for Willie Mullins in June 2017 but hasn't built on that since going hurdling including for current trainer. Still low mileage but forecast rain may not suit.

Said to have been unsuited by the sharp track when pulled up at Fontwell last time but her previous efforts read well in this grade and the more the rain the better. Blinkers now added to usual tongue tie.

All his form is on good ground and with the forecast rain it's hard to make a case for this veteran.

Should come on for Uttoxeter comeback last month but even his best effort over hurdles when second of 11 at Wincanton in May needs improving on.

Hit form with a pair of soft ground wins at Towcester and Southwell last winter and probably needed run at Chepstow last month. Tongue tie back on and interesting to see if the money comes for him.

Front-runner who seems to have lost his way but did win on soft ground at Plumpton in March and has dropped 10lb since that win so clearly well treated if able to bounce back.

Creditable fourth in a big field seller when last seen in the summer but usually avoids soft ground and first time blinkers now.

Only piece of form was when second at Towcester in April over 2m5f and well beaten on subsequent start. Bit to prove now.

Forecasts

Get Wishing (2/1), Galactic Power (9/2), Kalarika (8/1), Top Decision (9/1), The Major (10/1), Minella Voucher (10/1), Waitinonasunnyday (12/1), Mr Lando (16/1), Katie Connell (16/1), Scales (22/1), Jigsaw Financial (33/1), Ice Konig (40/1)

Verdict

Not many arrive in much form and the forecast rain could be a problem for some of these. KALARIKA had excuses at Fontwell and is better than that. If the first time blinkers work she can get back on track. Minella Voucher is entitled to come on for his Chepstow run and looks a threat with Get Wishing looking best of the rest.
