Related to some decent sorts and cost £90,000 unraced last year. Has shown little in two bumpers so far though and returns now following wind surgery. Big improvement needed to figure.
Showed nothing three pont-to-points and was completely tailed off on Rules debut in Market Rasen bumper when a long last of eight.
£28,500 paid for him after he won a point-to-point in good style last May. Rules debut and interesting to note if there is any market confidence behind him. Decent jockey booking catches the eye for last year's winning yard.
Fair Mix gelding whose dam was modest but is from extended family of high-class Waterloo Boy. Expected to be better for the experience unless market suggests otherwise.
French bred gelding who won only outing between the flags and is an interesting recruit for yard who has done so well over the years with similar stock. Likely to attract support and shouldn't be far away.
Dropped out quickly at Huntingdon in March on only start so far and has since undergone wind surgery. Represents top yard and good jockey on board so there could yet be a future for this gelded son of Oscar.
Kayf Tara gelding out of a 1m2f Flat winner so may have some ability. Yard rarely seen in this sphere but is 2-3 with Flat runners in recent weeks. Decent booking so no surprise to see hm run a decent race.
Gelded son of Kalanisi showed nothing on debut when last of 11 and tailed off at Wincanton in April. Much better last month though when beaten less than six lengths at Uttoxeter and has place prospects if taking a further step forward.
Fairly disapointing in four point-to-points but was decent third on Rules debut in Fontwell bumper. Ability to handle this softer ground unknown but may find a race or two and a bold show canot be ruled out.
€20,000 son of Fame And Glory out of dam from family of smart Rouble and Nick The Brief. Lost touch final half mile on debut at Fontwell but should have learned something and is by no means a forlorn hope.
French bred mare who won on second of her two point-to-point starts in Ireland and makes debut for new connections here. Yard in good form and does well in this sphere, so looks one for the short list.
Forecasts
Eden Du Houx (6/4), Escort'namix (4/1), Debestyman (7/1), On The Slopes (8/1), Nessfield Blue (10/1), Solar Glory (11/1), Little Vern (12/1), Carrick Roads (25/1), Officernisi (33/1), Downe Milking Lane (50/1), Clondaw Robin (100/1)
No outstanding candidate in this concluding bumper so Rules debutante ESCORT'NAMIX is a tentativve suggestion. She has won between the flags, hails from a good family and her yard is in form and has a decent recond in bumpers. There are plenty of possible danger with Debestyman an interesting contender, along with Eden De Houx, who looks the part on paper. Officernisi, Nessfield Blue and Little Vern are others to consider.
- Escort'namix
- Eden Du Houx
- Nessfield Blue
