Motivator mare, not shown a lot to enthuse about in four bumper starts. Race-fit at least ahead of this hurdles bow but must improve.
2
Horse silk
16/1
Winner of a modest point-to-point in Ireland and bought for £30,000 afterwards. Showed some ability despite looking in need of the experience in both hurdles starts to date, latest over 2m5f at Ludlow. Drop back in trip will suit.

Horse silk
2/1
Cost €40,000 as a three-year-old with some useful relations in her pedigree including Big Buck's on the distaff side. Cantered home in 2m bumper here in May and should be leading player on hurdles bow for champion trainer.
Half-sister to 2m hurdles winner All Is Good. Tailed off in 2m mares' maiden hurdle at Ludlow this month having gone off a 100/1 poke. Hard to recommend.
5
Horse silk
40/1
One of two for trainer Dan Skelton in this field, market likely to split them on this occasion.
6
Horse silk
11/8
Justified market confidence on bumper debut and second in a much better race at Cheltenham in April. Faller when in contention on hurdles bow at Chepstow (2m3½f, good) last month, though since run pleasing second at Ludlow over this trip.
7
Horse silk
7/2
Landed a gamble when making winning British bow in Listed Market Rasen bumper in January on heavy ground. Well held next time at Aintree and only third of five at Southwell (2m, good) on hurdles bow last month, though form looks decent.

33/1
Hexham bumper winner in June, gone backwards since including on hurdles bow at Chepstow (2m3½f, soft) eight days ago when tailed off. Drops in distance with something to prove.
9
Horse silk
33/1
Irish point-to-point winner, promising form in two bumpers including last-time-out win at Stratford in July. Returns from a break to commence hurdling career and capable of running well.
10
Horse silk
66/1
Authorized mare, has shown ability in bumpers. Off since January and relocated to this yard, could go well with trainer in form (3-12 lately), market check advised.
11
Horse silk
100/1
Cost £20,000 as a three-year-old and has plenty of jumping relations in her pedigree, though not much to shout about in Ffos Las debut back in May (struggled early and tailed off long way from home).
100/1 chance and never able to threaten on hurdles bow in Bangor maiden over extended two-miles this month. Hard to make a case for.
13
Horse silk
50/1
Half-sister to a couple of French hurdle winners, improved on second appearance at Ludlow (2m, good) in a maiden hurdle this month (beaten 18L) though still left with plenty to work on.

33/1
Point-to-point winner in spring 2017. Off for well over a year prior to average efforts this month at Fontwell and Uttoxeter in novice hurdles. Perhaps can do better against her own sex now.
16
Horse silk
100/1
Dam was a 3m winner and a half-sister to the useful chaser Nadiya de La Vega. Tailed off at Ffos Las in May (2m, good) in novice hurdle and suspicion she'll want further to be at her best.
17
Horse silk
20/1
Bred to be a jumper, no immediate impact on hurdling bow (previously poor in bumpers) at Wincanton (2m, good) this month but should do better in time.

Verdict

BARBADOS BLUE was an impressive bumper winner here on debut back in May and is bred to succeed in this sphere. Champion trainer Nicky Henderson looks to have found a good opportunity for her first time out. Of those with experience jumping, Definitelyanoscar boasts claims on her recent Ludlow second while the likes of Getaway Honey and Hurricane Minnie command some interest too. Dissavril should have more to offer given the form of her Southwell hurdles bow is working out quite well.
