On a good mark at present and was desperately unlucky here last time as he won the void race after the floodlights failed turning for home. Races off the same the same mark today and has obvious claims once again although this is more competitive.
A very consistent performer that has only been out of the places once in his last six starts. Only headed close home at Lingfield (6f, AW) last week and races off the same mark. Young riders claim puts him bang in the picture once more.
Winner at Haydock in June off 4lb lower but hasn't been in the same mood since. Improved effort over this C&D three weeks ago when not beaten far in third. Needs to put best foot forward here in a competitive heat.
You can put a line through his stable debut at Lingfield five days ago as he didn't get a great run round. Remains on a good opening mark and yard are very likely to get him firing soon enough. Leading contender.
Has been running consistently without looking like winning of late. Races off the same mark here as when a close fourth at Kempton over this trip last time. Leading apprentice booked but needs a bit more.
Terrific servant who has improved with age. Has won twice recently at Brighton and Wolverhampton. Races off a career-high mark as a result but sure to give his running once more and respected.
Likes it around here and has run two crackers over this C&D the last twice. Winning and a close second having not had the best of starts last time. Every chance of going well again if prominent tactics are employed again.
Hasn't won since his days with Richard Fahey back in 2016. Dropping in the weights as a result and starts life with another new yard today. Draw not ideal but would have a squeak if bouncing back to his very best.
Has better from on the AW than on turf and was backed into favourite at Kempton last time where she plugged on to be beaten 1½L. Needs to improve on that but every chance she will.
Winner at Kempton three starts back off 2lb lower and has remained in good form including a close third over C&D last time. Should give his running once more.
In good form earlier in the year on turf. Returns here on the back of a four-month break off a 5lb lower mark than for the last of his wins although turf form is superior to what he has achieved on the AW.
Took advantage of a reduced mark to win well over C&D last month. Picked up for 27,000 gns at the h-i-t sale by current connections after. Only 4lb higher here and remains fairly treated.

A wide-open contest to kick things off and you can make a pretty solid case for plenty. Marginal preference though is for PRINCELY who had a rough passage at Lingfield on Saturday on handicap debut but remains with lots of promise off his opening mark. Florencio was desperately unlucky to win the void race here last time when the floodlights failed and connections will be hoping for compensation tonight. Human Nature, Jellmood and Black Isle Boy are all well worthy of consideration too in a very open race.
