Once a smart chasing prospect but last season's form makes him a very hard sell on his return to action lumping weight to all his rivals.
Last season's Irish National hero, hasn't been spotted since that Fairyhouse success and returns to action from a career-high handicap mark.
Impressive reappearance when winning the Cork National this month (3m4f, good to yielding) from Rogue Angel. Has gone up 8lb for that win, but needs to be considered again.
Welsh National winner at the turn of the year, out of form since however and finished a long way behind Out Sam at Cork recently.
2016 Irish Grand National winner for Mouse Morris. No win since but typically improved since joining this trainer and showed the fire still burns when close second behind Out Sam in Cork National this month.
Often touted in this sort of environment but remains 0-13 over fences. Kim Muir run would give him a chance but poor both starts afterwards and doesn't boast a great record fresh. Ability is in there.
Joined Noel Meade this summer and made impressive start with career-best to win at Galway (2m6½f, yielding) last month. 10lb higher now but needs to be on the shortlist given he had plenty in hand.
Not the most consistent last season, though ran in plenty good contests. Improved on reappearance to deny Rashaan at Galway, up in trip now and interesting if backing that run up.
Sixth in the Irish National and has tuned up for this with spin around Naas in 2m Grade 3 earlier in the month. This a more realistic mission and yard going well.
Ended last term by winning a Mares Handicap Chase at Punchestown over 2m5f on soft ground in first-time cheekpieces (retained). This is tougher on return to action.
Third in the Thyestes at Gowran in January and second in Leinster National at same track amongst positive showings last term. Failed to complete in two most recent starts however and back from a break here.
Still making progress in this sphere, as shown when holding off Na Trachtalai Abu to win the Munster National last month. 8lb higher today but capable of staying competitive.
Versatile performer is holding form well, going down battling in Listed contest at Thurles earlier in the week after a late jumping error. Wouldn't like to discount turned out quickly here.
Was coming back from a long spell on the sidelines when well held at Naas this month over timber. Seems like there is plenty to prove at the moment.
Was still in a threatening position in the Cork National this month when coming to grief at three out. Ruby Walsh stays faithful and is an unexposed contender.
Did some decent late work in the Cork National but still finished in midfield behind a few of these rivals and hard to predict a big turnaround.
Had plenty of these behind when running a stormer to be second to Spider Web in the Munster National last time. Must repeat the dose now, but will be in the mix if doing so.
Was returning from almost three years off in the Munster National on first start for this handler. Lightly-raced for a 12-year-old and shaped as if some ability is retained before fading late on, could do better.
Gordon Elliott got an excellent return from him last season but recent run behind Out Sam in the Cork Grand National rather confirmed the suspicion the handicapper has got him cornered now.
Fine third in the Blazers at the Galway Festival, starting to paddle when falling two out in Listed Wexford contest last time though and vulnerable now.
Tipperary winner last month in beginners' event, lacks experience over these obstacles, as evidenced with fall in Cork Grade 3 novice last time. Likely to find out more about himself in this field.
Plenty to find seemingly after finishing well down the field in Munster National won by Spider Web latest. Hard to make a case for.
Has picked up a couple of prizes in Britain this year over 3m, ran a fair race last time at Ayr (3m, heavy) and returns to Irish shores rated 7lb lower. Could outrun his odds.
More like it when third in Punchestown handicap chase (2m6½f, good) last week. Runs off the same mark here, albeit should have to improve to match that placing in this line-up.
Progressing nicely, denied hat-trick last week at Punchestown (2m6½f, good) having shot up the ratings. More on his plate again if getting in (First Reserve).

Gordon Elliott has won the last four renewals and, on weight of numbers alone, he's hard to oppose again. Out Sam showcased his credentials at Cork and will be popular. Runner-up Rogue Angel is admirable and can run well but the one to take from that race might be Minella Beau, fancied and moving well when he came down three out. Spider Web, Tout Est Permis and Eight Till Late all have merit while Arkwrisht should be spot on after his Naas. A sporting chance is taken with SWINGBRIDGE at a big price near the foot of the weights. He's been in good tune in Britain and is rated 7lb lower back in Ireland.
- Swingbridge
- Minella Beau
- Arkwrisht
