Went very close at Kempton on the back of being gelded last time. Nudged up 3lb for not winning but leading rider booked and sure to give it another good go.

Much improved since going handicapping and won well here over C&D two starts back. Only just failed to follow-up under a penalty here last time and is nudged up another 4lb. Draw makes life tougher too.

Three runs in novice company the best of which came on Kempton on debut over this trip. This looks a fair opening mark based on that effort and interesting to see what the market makes of him.

Best effort came on debut at Ascot over a mile. Disappointing twice subsequently but this looks a good mark for nursery debut and market support would be significant.

Took advantage of a drop in the weights to score well here over C&D last month. Only raised 2lb for that win and given plenty of time since. Another solid effort is likely.

Winner at Brighton off 2lb lower last month. Disappointing since but gave it a good go from the front at Lingfield last week and a similar effort would see him on the premises.

Has shown promise on all three starts so far and looks to be of interest now moving into nurseries. Not on a bad opening mark and Adam Kirby booked. Interesting.

Bits and pieces of promise on her three qualifying runs in novice company. Seemed to appreciate the drop back to 6f last time so slight question mark over the trip. Should do better.

Failed to win in five starts for Richard Hannon but went close at Kempton last month. Picked up by connections for 1,000 gns after that and makes debut for new yard today.

Looks to have a few quirks and is without a win in six starts so far. Tailed off a Chelmsford last time and the eye-shield now replaced the cheekpieces.

Forecasts

Fume (11/4), Jem Scuttle (4/1), Teresita Alvarez (4/1), Axel Jacklin (9/2), Congress Place (10/1), St Ouen (11/1), Pop The Cork (18/1), Cool Kitty (20/1), Gamba (25/1), Obaby (66/1)

Verdict

Fume ran a cracker on the back of a gelding operation at Kempton last time and is sure to give it another good go here. Pop The Cork is interesting on nursery debut based on his debut effort. CONGRESS PLACE makes the most appeal also on nursery debut having shown ability on all three starts. Adam Kirby is a positive booking and she can get off the mark here.
  1. Congress Place
  2. Fume
  3. Pop The Cork
