Has enjoyed a fine year on the AW but nine of 10 wins on a synthetic surface have come at Lingfield. Remains high in the weights and others better handicapped at this track.
Seven-race maiden who has generally run to a consistent level without improving. Not disgraced over this C&D latest but a bit more required.
Sprang a 33/1 surprise at Chester but failed to back that up with a disappointing run at Yarmouth. Concern that she has so far been clearly favoured by a soft surface.
Has really hit form with back-to-back wins over 1m6f and 2m at Lingfield. Drop in trip shouldn't be an issue and just 2lb higher than last year's C&D win. Should go close again.
Four from 10 on an AW surface which included a C&D win. Bit disappointing though here latest and although dropped 2lb, probably remains in the grip of the handicapper.
Five-race maiden was a well beaten favourite back in maiden company at Southwell when he didn't seem to act on the surface. Remains on a good mark and could bounce back.
Goes well here including two C&D wins. Not in the same form since the latest of them and could do with some further slack from the handicapper.
Has run to a consistent level in three starts since breakthrough win and worth a try at this trip on course debut. Bit more required but can be competitive.
Remains 3lb higher than last win but has gone close the last twice on turf and is better suited by the AW. Considered but others may just prove stronger at this trip.
Revitalised since switching stables with two seconds and a win all at this track. Remains on a very workable mark and likely to go close again.
Bounced right back when winning at Kempton over this trip. Has previously gone on a run when hitting form and looks set to go close under a 6lb penalty.
Has hit a good run of consistent form since joining this stable and has a bit unlucky the last twice here. Should be involved again.
Forecasts
Calvinist (5/1), Pink Phantom (6/1), Sauchiehall Street (6/1), Bamako Du Chatelet (6/1), Iley Boy (7/1), Mr Carbonator (10/1), Raven's Raft (10/1), Roc Astrale (12/1), Home Before Dusk (16/1), Ebqaa (25/1), Raashdy (28/1), Attain (40/1)
Calvinist and Raven's Raft are in good and consistent form and both looks sure to run their races again in an open contest. Iley Boy is respected under a penalty and is taken to build on his latest success. It would be no surprise to see Home Before Dusk leave his latest effort behind but BAMAKO DU CHATELET remains one to keep on the right side of and could be ahead of the handicapper over a C&D that suits.
- Bamako Du Chatelet
- Calvinist
- Iley Boy
