C&D winner comes here in fine form following a hat-trick of wins in both codes in the spring. Looking to continue winning thread but caution advised on first start since May.
Landed a hat-trick of wins in a summer/autumn hurdling campaign that saw the Mujahid gelding rise 122lb in the weights. Still in good form earlier this month and a leading player here.
Distance winner who has won her last two starts over timber at Limerick in April and on return at Fairyhouse earlier this month. One for the shortlist.
Winner of two of his 16 hurdle starts and appears out of form of late. Hold place claims at best in this company.
C&D winner of a heavy ground maiden in March 2014. Last seen here in April finishing 140L adrift of the winner and hard to place any faith in.
C&D winner of this contest 12-months ago off a 4lb lower mark. Beaten but lightly raced since and one to watch for any market move.
Chasing of late and winner of one of his seven hurdle starts to date. Overall record casts doubt on her ability to get competitive in this company.
Off the track for over 12-months before returning for a couple of below-par runs at Punchestown and here in April. Plenty to prove at present.
C&D winner who finished down the field in this contest 12-months ago off a 5lb higher mark. Solid and genuine sort, no reason why he couldn't get competitive.
Inconsistent sort whose second behind Hearts Are Trumps at Galway last month would put the Dushyantor gelding in the mix here. Unlikely to find that form and hard to fancy in this contest.
Won the second hurdle of her career when landing a Listowel handicap on good ground when last seen in September beating, a then inform, Demi Plie. Should be a leading contender.
Well held on her most recent hurdle starts around the turn of the year. May need more relief from the handicapper before getting competitive again.
Forecasts
Tell Me Annie (3/1), Brex Drago (7/2), Rooster Byron (5/1), Humm Baby (6/1), Damut (8/1), Antimatter (10/1), Montys Meadow (14/1), Synopsis (14/1), Miles To Memphis (14/1), Allez Kal (20/1), Conright Boy (25/1), Sonny B (33/1)
C&D winner ROOSTER BYRON can continue his winning ways here for the trainer/jockey combination of Paul Nolan and Bryan Cooper, completing a hat-trick of hurdle wins for the duo. Genuine and consistent sort Brex Drago and Tell Me Annie, a winner at Fairyhouse this month can fill the place positions while last years winner, Montys Meadow can go well at a price.
- Rooster Byron
- Brex Drago
- Tell Me Annie
