Showed ability in a pair of bumper's and off the mark on debut over hurdles at Perth in June.. That took little winning however, and off the course since struggling under his penalty on return visit there later that month.

Much improved when scoring over C&D recently. That was a slowly run contest but beat a pair of previous winners and that represents the best form on offer with promising claimer in the saddle.

Bumper win on debut 18 months ago but hasn't shown a great deal in three attempts over hurdles when trained in Ireland and sold for £10,000 in September. First run for current connections.
Too green to do himself justice when 66/1 for Warwick Bumper in April and will need to step up plenty on hurdling debut now.
Made all in a weak Point-to-point in April and subsequently sold for £14,500. Probably best watched on hurdling debut unless market speaks in his favour.

1m6f win on the Flat but has shown little in three goes over hurdles and well beaten when falling two out behind Skidoosh last time.

€60,000 purchase as a three-year-old. A little ability in a pair of summer bumper's but needs to leave that form behind now hurdling.

Showed little in a pair of bumper's last winter and absent since. Withdrawn on good ground here a fortnight ago.

66/1
Has shown nothing in two Point-to-points and a pair of two hurdles at huge prices and not hard to look elsewhere
Changed hands for £10,000 after winning a Point-to-point in Ireland in the summer and shaped well on hurdling debut for these connections at Kelso last month. Was well backed then and this longer trip will suit.

Won two Point-to-points earlier in the year but was beaten 15L by Skidoosh on hurdling debut and has work to do to reverse the form even on these revised terms.

Highway Girl294
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-5| J: J J Burke| T: C E Longsdon
9/2
Shaped well in a pair of fair bumper's at Huntingdon and Doncaster last winter and bred to do better over obstacles. One of the more interesting ones on paper and market should be revealing.

Forecasts

Skidoosh (11/4), Highway Girl (9/2), Captain Zebo (5/1), Thelongwayaround (6/1), Roo Roo (7/1), Iwasthefutureonce (8/1), Pleney (10/1), Schiehallion Munro (20/1), Bene Regina (25/1), Leodis (25/1), Debrouillard (50/1), Stripe Of Honour (66/1)

Verdict

SKIDOOSH did well to overcome a slow pace when scoring here recently and can defy the penalty in what doesn't look that strong a race. Thelongwararound came in for support on debut for yard and can do better at this longer trip while Highway Girl appeals most of the rest.
  1. Skidoosh
  2. Thelongwayaround
  3. Highway Girl
