Placed on soft ground in the spring but well beaten on two most recent starts and had wind surgery since finishing seventh at Worcester (2m7f, good) in August.
Ran well to finish runner-up on handicap debut over an extended 2m at Taunton (heavy) in April. Changed stables since and is an interesting runner on seasonal reappearance.
Fair form over hurdles last season but well beaten on her most recent start and probably best watched on first outing since wind surgery.
Placed in a couple of point-to-points and showed improved form when 6L fifth over 2m at Chepstow (good) on handicap debut last time out. Interesting stepping up in distance.
Making her seasonal debut when finishing 8L second over an extended 2m5f at Wetherby (good) earlier this month. Races off the same mark in this contest.
Returned to form with a victory over an extended 2m3f at Carlisle (good) last time out. Raised 5lb for that success and is worth a check in the market.
Recorded her first placing over hurdles when beaten 5L at Market Rasen (good) over an extended 2m in June. Good efforts on the Flat since and of interest on her return to hurdling.
Glimpses of ability in five starts over hurdles in Ireland. Market support would be notable on her first start for this yard.
Disappointing favourite over an extended 2m2f at Stratford (good) last time out. In good form prior to that however and not written off just yet.
Six race maiden finished 29L fourth in a handicap hurdle over an extended 1m7f at Southwell (soft) in February. More needed upped in trip on seasonal debut.
Well beaten in three novice hurdles and it was a similar story on handicap debut at Southwell (3m, good) in May. Drop in trip looks likely to suit.
Showed promise in a Galway (good) bumper on debut in 2016 but struggled since including on debut for this yard in September. Probably best watched on handicap debut.
Eight race maiden finished 18L ninth in a 2m4f handicap hurdle at Worcester (good) in May last year. Tongue tie tried for the first time on stable debut following a lengthy absence.
Had just six starts since winning over 2m at Chepstow (heavy) in November 2015. Fair ninth over C&D last month and interesting to see how she fares racing from out of the handicap.
Forecasts
Premier Rose (7/2), Tierra Verde (4/1), Hoponandsee (6/1), Methag (7/1), Northern Girl (8/1), Marvellous Monty (10/1), Agent Memphis (10/1), Lady Master (14/1), Ask Catkin (16/1), Domestic Diva (16/1), Scorpion Sea (25/1), Choochoobugaloo (33/1), Helamis (33/1), Her Dream (50/1)
TIERRA VERDE remains open to improvement on just her second handicap start and she is taken to get the better of her rivals in this competitive contest. Premier Rose returned to winning ways last time out and she can finished runner-up ahead of Hoponandsee who can put a disappointing effort last time out behind her to finish third.
- Tierra Verde
- Premier Rose
- Hoponandsee
