Useful stayer on the Flat who appreciated the stamina test in a strongly run race at Warwick last week. This course asks different questions but the opposition looks modest for a race the yard have won previously.
Winning stayer on the Flat and also won on second start over hurdles in France. Untested on a sound surface and stable have gone a long while without a winner.
13-race maiden on the Flat whose best form came on Tapeta. Last of the five finishers in an uncompetitive race here on hurdling debut.
Limited ability on the Flat and a distant third of the four finishers on hurdling debut. Makes very little appeal.
12-race maiden on the Flat who was pitched into the Wensleydale for his hurdling debut. This easier but he did not show enough.
€45,000 son of Fame And Glory closely related to eight winners including the likes of Zamdy Man and Clyne. One to watch in the market with that eyecatching pedigree.
Listed winner for Richard Hannon in his prime but performances deteriorated in 2018 and remains to be seen if hurdling reignites his interest.
Brother to Outback who was a winning hurdler. Stays 1m2f on the flat but a keen going front-runner who will need to settle better than was the case at Huntingdon. Hood on this time.
Won at Leopardstown over 1m4f back in May and runner-up at Killarney off a mark of 74 on last start. Handles any ground and wears a hood on hurdling debut for new yard.
Off the mark at the ninth time of asking in a 1m2f Windsor handicap when rated 74. Has joined this yard for 21,000 gns and they are yet to strike form this term.
Forecasts
Elysees (10/11), Song For Someone (9/2), De Bruyne Horse (8/1), Caswell Bay (12/1), Metatrons Cube (14/1), For Pleasure (14/1), Canadian George (16/1), Flere Imsaho (16/1), Bunch Of Thyme (33/1), Admiral Spice (33/1)
Caswell Bay has a pedigree that suggests he is one to track whatever his fate here and the market should be informative ahead of his debut. For Pleasure is another interesting recruit as is De Bruyne Horse. French import, Song For Someone, would make more appeal if the yard had not gone so long without a winner. As a result this should go to ELYSEES even though this may not represent a stiff enough test. He recorded a good time at Warwick last week and the stable have a good record in this particular contest.
