Has shown some promise for previous yards but all the evidence suggests she wants a stiffer test on softer ground than she will get here on chasing debut.

Winner of a very modest maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter in June and made no impact on subsequent starts including her chase debut. Visor fitted this time.

Showed his best form to date in better company than this at Exeter when last seen a year ago. Stable in form so hard to rule out completely in such weak company.

Triple winning hurdler has only completed half his starts over fences despite being backed as though better was expected. Particularly disappointing last time but possible this track may help him more.

French import, hasn't shown much since joining current trainer. Comes here on the back of an absence and receives a watching brief on chase debut.

Would have claims on some of his hurdling form and he shaped as though in need of the experience when a remote third to a stable companion on chasing debut. Will know more this time and yard landed this two years ago.

Third in a Warwick hurdle in May but pulled up and tailed off last of seven on both starts over fences.

Fair over hurdles back in 2015 when he won a couple of races. Fair third at Startford in October and pulled up on chase return 10 days ago when his saddle slipped.

Left clear at the last to score at Bangor two weeks ago. An 8lb rise looks harsh but the opposition here is weak.

Forecasts

Keep Moving (13/8), Centreofexcellence (5/2), Cap St Vincent (6/1), Comber Mill (12/1), Inch Lala (14/1), Sadma (14/1), Dartagnan Le Dun (14/1), Amirr (16/1), Daylami Kirk (25/1)

Verdict

This will take little winning and provides Centreofexcellence with an opportunity to follow up his Bangor success. An 8lb rise should make this harder, however the opposition is mediocre and he would still be expected to go close. Keep Moving has been absent for a year since a career best, however that was on soft ground at Exeter and this will be more of a speed test. The vote goes to CAP ST VINCENT who came from a long way back to finish third behind a stable companion on his chase debut. Some of his hurdles form shows him to be well-handicapped and he can go close if ridden more positively.
  1. Cap St Vincent
  2. Centreofexcellence
  3. Keep Moving
