Raven's Pass colt who cost 35,000 gns as a yearling. Showed little in Newbury maiden at big odds on recent debut. Needs this step up in trip and switch to AW to bring about plenty of improvement.
35,000 gns Archipenko colt. Dam won over 2m and the way he shaped after a slow start on Nottingham debut recently suggests he looks more of a long term prospect.
Showed some ability on first two starts including a valuable sales race in France, but disappointed on AW debut over C&D last time and has a little to prove after that.
Has only beaten two rivals in a pair of maidens and no better in a visor last time. The headgear is retained but likely to do better in handicaps after this.
Oasis Dream gelding. 16,000 gns yearling and dam won from 1m to 1m4f. Half- sister Late Change won three races over 7f and 1m this summer. Stable having a really good run with their newcomers so commands plenty of respect.
100/1 shot when beating just two home on Newbury debut last month over this trip but the only horse to come out since from that race did win at Newcastle last week.
€9,000 Paco Boy yearling. Half-brother to Glorious Star who won over 7f on fibresand. Dam unraced. Yard also represented by Agent Basterfield.
Stepped up on debut effort when 4L fifth of 10 at Yarmouth last time and has since been bought for 16,000 gns and moved from Luca Cumani to a yard who have had a cracking season with their juveniles.
Similar level of form in a pair of maidens at this trip and it probably represents the best on offer. This is her third run in as many weeks and if the busy schedule hasn't caught up with her she looks sure to play a part.
Kyllachy filly whose sales price rose to £27,000 in the spring. Second foal, dam won at 1m4f. Yard 10-101 in two-year-old races in 2018.
Tailed off on recent turf debut at 150/1 at Newmarket and would need to show huge improvement in a short space of time to be competitive in this.
Forecasts
Fearlessly (11/10), Snow In Spring (6/1), Cafe Espresso (15/2), Agent Basterfield (8/1), Crackaway (10/1), Gold Arch (11/1), Raise The Clouds (16/1), Rectory Road (33/1), Ede's (33/1), New Expo (66/1), Iris's Spirit (100/1)
On paper a weak maiden and the market should reveal plenty about the newcomers. FEARLESSLY gets a narrow vote ahead of Cafe Espresso though Snow In Spring probably won't have to be anything special to figure on his debut.
- Fearlessly
- Cafe Espresso
- Snow In Spring
