Lightly raced and should have no issues with the ground or trip. Still a maiden and has looked short of a tactical change of gear on occasions though. No easy task on these terms.
Easy winner last time out but the handicapper has taken the view that an 11lb rise may pinpoint the mare's level. By far her stiffest test yet but she's holding her form well and could well have more offer.
Goes well at this time of year and possible he needed the run when last but one on his return to action last month. Just 1lb above his last winning mark though; which means he's well weighted if he can recapture his old sparkle.
Consistent in his two previous starts over hurdles and and going the right way. Dropped 1lb since his last run but still has scope to make an impact in this company; place claims at least.
Pulled up in his last two starts and needs to prove he still has the heart for a battle; others much more appealing.
Better effort last time out and feasible he's got the ability to play a strong role from the same mark in this company. Best with a bit of give underfoot, so overnight rain would be a big boost. One to consider for sure.
2-9 over hurdles but form has dipped since his victory at Wincanton last January. Now 6lb below that winning mark, the gelding is on an attractive mark but has a bit to prove after a poor effort last time out.
Unexposed and starts his handicap career on a very appealing mark. Ran to a decent level on his penultimate start but not so good last time; improvement now required.
Made all to win a novice hurdle at Stratford in May and again showed good battling qualities at the same course when last seen out. Fitness to prove but can go well fresh; worth a betting check at least.
Won over hurdles on debut for his former yard but returns to this stage on a 4lb higher mark and needs to better his latest effort over timber by some way. He's fit from the Flat and represents a top yard, so no forlorn hope.
Of modest ability on the Flat but has taken well to hurdling and can hold his own when he gets his ground. Best with give underfoot but has a long absence to overcome.
Better over hurdles than on the Flat but was struggling to find his level when last tired over timber. Not seen under either code since July and might just need a spin to put him right.
Up 6lb after making a winning return at Southwell last month but won with a little in hand and may be open to a bit of progress; was rated 111 for his first start in a handicap so potentially on a fair mark. The betting can guide here.
Gets this trip well is fit from the Flat; poor completion rate over hurdles but does have ability when things go his way. Place claims but risk attached.
