Winner of five races here, and retains ability as he approaches veteran status. Took a claimer here in May, and easy enough to forgive a poor run on turf last time, that race likely to put him right for this.
Has won under both codes for Seamus Durack, but below form in three runs for current yard, and best judged on latest sixth of 10 at Nottingham.
Veteran who retains his enthusiasm, and has won three from nine at this venue. Bounced back from some poor efforts when third at Newbury last time, albeit beaten by a considerable margin.
Hard to win with, but in good heart at present, and better than the bare result when third of 12 to Lopes Dancer at Redcar last time. Ought to cope with this surface, and one to consider.
Back in better heart after an abortive spell over hurdles, finishing third in a 1m3½f handicap at Bath last month. Not beaten far at Lingfield on latest start, and not without hope here, for all he has no Fibresand experience.
Won twice here for Alan Swinbank, but well beaten on the Flat and over hurdles for current yard, and while the return to AW might help, others look more persuasive.
In fine form right now, finishing second in 2m AW handicaps at Wolverhampton and Kempton on last two starts for this rider. Every chance if handling Fibresand, and fairly handicapped on balance, with prospect of more to come.
Won twice over fences last winter, and potentially well treated in this sphere given pick of his jumps form. Interesting jockey booking for yard which had a big-priced winner on the Flat recently.
Winner of a similar even at Lyon La Soie for Eoghan O'Neill a year ago, and lightly raced since. Tried in eyeshields on debut for new yard, and market will be informative.
Won or placed on 14 of 19 starts here, and not discredited on turf/Polytrack of late. Should be competitive back here, and one for the shortlist.
Promise in maidens, and ran her best race when ½L second of 10 to Beer With The Boys in a 1m4f maiden at Pontefract last time. More needed to win on handicap bow, but unexposed and should do better.
Won at Wolverhampton in July, and best turf form for a while when runner-up in a 1m3f Limerick handicap last month. Again ran well last time, and every chance if proving he can handle this surface.
Best effort in a while when ¾L second of 11 to Carvelas in a 2m handicap at Chelmsford last time. Unproven here, but suited by a test of stamina, and not underestimated.
Best effort when third in a 1m4f handicap here in August, but out of the handicap here, and even a repeat of that effort won't be enough.
Forecasts
Sbraase (11/4), The Last Debutante (6/1), Cousin Khee (7/1), Buonarroti (8/1), Katie Gale (8/1), Via Delle Volte (9/1), Normandy Blue (10/1), Serenity Now (16/1), Il Sicario (20/1), Colwood (25/1), Iftiraaq (25/1), Goldfox Girl (33/1), Virnon (40/1), Newberry New (40/1)
THE LAST DEBUTANTE is unproven here, but should be out of trouble given her prominent running style, and a repeat of either of her last two runs would put her firmly in the picture. Sbraase and Buonarroti are also running well enough now, and should give supporters a good run for their money.
- The Last Debutante
