Took to the AW in flying style when bolting in over 1m6f here. That was right back to her best, the drop in trip shouldn't be an issue and has more to offer.
Formerly trained by Richard Hannon, he's been well below his best form in two poor runs for this yard and remains one to overlook.
Yet to win in 19 starts on turf so will appreciate a return to his favoured track. Remains a touch high in the weights and didn't convince on previous run over this far.
Last win came in April 2016 but not the same force nowadays. Failed to build on a better run two starts back and others preferred.
Made all at Kempton over this trip in March and first win since over shorter here latest. 6lb rise makes things tougher and not certain to back up performance but has to be respected.
Picked up for 12,000gns in February and not shown much in three starts so far. Needs to improve on handicap debut but stable red-hot at present and market support would be interesting.
Showed promise in her first two starts for John Gosden before a disappointing effort. Failed to improve on stable and handicap debut and needs to find plenty now up in trip.
Has generally held his form since winning over 1¼m at Chelmsford in March and has raced right up to his best with thirds at Goodwood and Yarmouth. Query at the extra distance but should be thereabouts.
Longstanding maiden but not beaten far in three starts for new stable. More required to breakthrough but holds place possibilities.
Seven-race maiden went close to winning over 1m2f at Chelmsford but a bit below that latest over the same C&D. Extra distance poses a question.
Showed nice improvement to break maiden tag over 1m3f at Kempton and while the form is only moderate he did some really good late work that suggests he can improve up a furlong. Rates a contender.
Hasn't shown enough so far and well held on handicap debut and in a French claimer. Dropped 8lb but opening mark looked harsh.
Forecasts
Eden Rose (5/4), Tilsworth Lukey (7/1), Given Choice (8/1), True Destiny (8/1), Udogo (8/1), Boscastle (9/1), Ember's Glow (16/1), Celtic Artisan (16/1), Chloris (22/1), Boycie (50/1), Sark (66/1), Sheila's Empire (100/1)
For a stable in very good form EDEN ROSE looks one to following a highly impressive and easy win here on course debut. Udogo would be a big danger if replicating his latest win but he can't always be relied on while True Destiny may be the biggest danger considering the small rise in the weights and the extra distance is a big plus. Tilsworth Lukey shouldn't be far away but the extra distance does raise stamina issues while it would be no surprise to see big improvement from Given Choice.
- Eden Rose
- True Destiny
- Tilsworth Lukey
