Won a bumper at Lingfield on his racecourse debut but things haven't panned out for him over jumps since. Well held on Flat debut and questions to answer down in trip.
Only raced in extremely testing conditions at Haydock, winning nicely on sole start last year and returning from over a year off with a solid enough comeback. Should come on for the run and rates a contender.
Former Godolphin inmate cost 180,000gns as a yearling. Promising debut despite pulling up lame in April and not seen since. Sold for £12,000 and market will be a good guide on stable debut.
Gelded son of Dutch Art whose price reduced from €160,000 as a yearling to 10,000gns in February. Tailed off on debut and best watched.
Cost 115,000gns as a yearling but didn't show enough on debut and was tailed off over 1m4f at Kempton. Drops in trip but hard to make a case for.
Gelded son of Cacique who fetched 10,000 gns as a yearling and not seen since only start back in January for Jeremy Noseda. Never got involved despite market prominence and best watched on stable debut.
Daughter of Casamento who fetched 13,000gns as a foal, reduced to 8,500gns as a yearling. Stable's debutantes tend to need their first start.
Daughter of Oasis Dream out of an unraced Dalakhani mare. Never got into the contest on debut and likely to need time.
Looked green on Newbury debut but shaped with plenty of promise. Back from 11 months on the sidelines and ran well for a long way at Kempton. Looked sure to come on for the run and shorter trip should suit. Leading player.
Half-sister to five winners who was very green on debut at Kempton but didn't really progress at the same track over 1m3f. Unlikely to be involved on what we've seen so far.
Well beaten in France in June for former connections and sold for 11,000gns. Probably best watched on UK and stable debut.
Cost 38,000gns as a foal and 30,000gns as a yearling but has shown little in two starts and easy to oppose.
€380,000 yearling who is eye-catching on breeding being by Oasis Dream out of an unraced dam who is a sister to Listed winner Kissed. Likely to need a bit further in time but well worth a market check.
Forecasts
This Girl (2/1), Tranquil Storm (3/1), Blazon (6/1), Al Reef (8/1), Birch Grove (12/1), Lady Farhh (16/1), Sir Prize (16/1), Alexandria (25/1), Principia (33/1), Trade Talks (50/1), Cash N Carrie (50/1), Sweetest Smile (100/1), Elwadi (100/1)
This Girl is by Nathaniel so is likely to improve now as she goes up in distance and showed she still has plenty of potential after such a long absence. BIRCH GROVE likewise made a pleasing return from a significant break and should be a lot fitter for the run. Stablemate Tranquil Storm is a very interesting newcomer while Al Reef has every chance judged on his debut but his stable is a bit quiet at present and it remains to be seen after leaving such a powerful stable, how much ability he retains.
- Birch Grove
- This Girl
- Tranquil Storm
