Good servant to connections, but not at his best in three starts this year. Down to lenient mark, but best form is over 6f.

French import who has shown only limited promise for current yard. Third off this mark at Musselburgh two starts ago and by no means disgraced at Doncaster last time.

Wins at Doncaster and Catterick in the spring, but struggled a little when upped in the weights. Last two runs have been more encouraging, however, and current mark is fair.

Back to form with a bang at Catterick last week, bolting up by 7L. Turned out quickly under a 6lb penalty and looks to hold every chance of following up

Age: 4|  Weight: 9-6| J: Robert Dodsworth(7)| T: T D Easterby| OR:  81
16/1
Stable companion of Al Erayg and Parys Mountain who has been out of sorts since completing a hat-trick of wins in the summer. Inching back down the wights, but Parys Mountain seems a strong contender for the yard.

Put some ordinary efforts behind him when a fine third of 18 in a claiming handicap at Doncaster recently. Each-way claims if able to build on that.

Queen's Sargent47

Musselburgh winner in March, but nowhere near that form until finishing second of 13 at Ayr in September. Cut in the ground looks the key to him and it would be no surprise to see him figure off a fair mark.

Twin Appeal5
Age: 7|  Weight: 9-1| J: Gemma Tutty(3)| T: K Tutty| OR:  76| D

In good form since joining this yard from David Barron's stable, winning at Beverley and running well to be second on the AW at Newcastle on his latest outing. Runs off 4lb lower on turf and has to enter calculations.

Bath winner in August of last year, but has raced only twice this year and has struggled to find his form. Steps up in distance off a reduced mark, but has questions to answer.

C&D winner last month, but went up 3lb and was found wanting over 1m at Newmarket three days ago. Return to this trip a plus and has possibilities.

Forecasts

Parys Mountain (7/4), Twin Appeal (11/2), Right Action (7/1), Beverley Bullet (7/1), Queen's Sargent (9/1), Tommy G (9/1), Al Erayg (11/1), Brother McGonagall (16/1), Nameitwhatyoulike (40/1), Stoneyford Lane (50/1), Kheleyf's Girl (50/1)

Verdict

Parys Mountain will be popular under his penalty and looks much the best of his stable's three contenders, but the vote goes to QUEEN'S SARGENT, who lost his way on a sound surface but looked much happier with give underfoot last time. Tommy G shaped well at Doncaster and could go well, along with Right Action, Beverley Bullet and Twin Appeal.
  1. Queen's Sargent
  2. Parys Mountain
  3. Tommy G
