Son of Archipenko who overcame greenness to make a winning debut at Ffos Las (1m, soft) in September. Sure to progress, and one to keep on side.
Bred for stamina, and better effort in two starts last month when 8L eighth of 15 to Landa Beach at Newbury (1m, good/soft) last time. Much more needed to break through at this level, and requires this run for a handicap mark.
Shaped with a degree of promise when fifth of 12 to Sovereign Grant in a C&D novice on debut, so disappointing that he went backwards from that in finishing last behind Landa Beach at Newbury, albeit not helped by racing alone.
Son of Cape Cross from family of smart miler Iguazu Falls. Sales price rose to 80,000 gns as a yearling, and represents a yard with 7-43 record with 2-y-o newcomers here since 2013. Needs a market check.
By Toronado out of a temperamental maiden, herself out of Prestige Stakes (7f Group 3) winner Geminiani. Yard 0-28 with juvenile debutants in recent years, and this gelding is easy enough to pass over.
Zoffany half-brother to 3 winners, including useful 7f/1m winner Lola Beaux. Shaped with plenty of promise when 1¾L third of 11 to Buffalo River in a 7f novice here on debut, and likely to build on that now, so shortlisted.
By Tamayuz out of a dual 7½f winner who was listed placed over 1m2f. Some interest on pedigree, but yard 0-71 with 2-y-o newcomers in last two years, so very likely to need this experience.
By Dutch Art out of a Group 3 winner over 7½f. Looked in need of further when a promising fourth of 12 to Attainment in a 7f novice at Lingfield last month, and should have more to offer at this trip.
Not without appeal on pedigree, but down the field in turf starts at Carlisle and Redcar to date, and any improvement likely to come in handicaps.
By Scat Daddy out of an unraced daughter of 1000 Guineas winner Sleepytime, and a half-sister to several winners. Yard can ready one, so respected for all fitting of a hood for debut is a concern.
Toronado filly out of a 1m/1m1½f winner. Yard tends to be patient with its youngsters (0-29 with newcomers in last five years), and looks an unlikely winner on paper.

Nivaldo (13/8), Silent Hunter (5/2), Originaire (3/1), Oliveto (6/1), Mackaar (7/1), Beychella (25/1), Shawaaheq (33/1), Kings Royal Hussar (66/1), Mr Zoom Zoom (66/1), Goshen (100/1), Poetic Motion (100/1), Treasured Company (150/1)
ORIGINAIRE finished with running left to give over 7f here on debut, and is taken to make the most of the weight he receives from Ffos Las winner Nivaldo. Silent Hunter will appreciate both the longer trip, and nature of this track after staying on over 7f at Lingfield, and should also be on the premises.
