Out-and-out front runner who may well get the run of this and appears to be in a good spell at the moment although his weak finishes tend to temper any winning ambitions. Travelled well last time (unsuited by the extended run-in); place chance.
Fair over hurdles back in 2015 when he won a couple of races off slightly higher marks over 2m but very lightly-raced since. His two chase starts under Rules have been less than encouraging; didn't shape too badly last time over hurdles (same rider).
May well be a little more to come from this one although his propensity for weak finishes is a worry (may have needed the race last time on chase debut). Ran better than his finishing position suggests last time and off the same mark looks tempting.
Reported to have had two wind ops in the past year he's still to win over hurdles/fences and despite being supported last time came up short again (runner-up). That run came in a weak affair and his jumping left something to be desired.
His mark continues to fall (now on a career-low mark) but has shown some ability remains in his last two starts and he may be able to take advantage in a weak contest. Ran too free last time out but if he settles he could show his worth.
Poor maiden chaser who makes his debut for a new yard having raced out of the weights on his last four starts. Usually races up with the pace and hasn't done badly considering the circumstances but prone to mistakes and faces pace pressure here.
Veteran handicap chaser who is unlikely to be improving at his age and has been well held the last twice. His last win came in the middle of last year when he got the run of the race and that's unlikely to happen here.
