Age: 5|  Weight: 11-12| J: Finian O'Toole(3)| T: H Hogarth| OR:  110| D
28/1
Dual winning hurdler when he was with his previous yard but hasn't really shown much zip over fences for this stable; pulled up when last seen (bled). Back over hurdles off a falling mark but makes little appeal.

Age: 9|  Weight: 11-12| J: Mr John Dixon(7)| T: J E Dixon| OR:  110| CD
25/1
Winner of five hurdle races (twice over C&D) but has his own ideas about the game and never clear which version will be on display. Took advantage of a falling mark to win here at the start of the year; laboured effort when last seen; hard to trust.

Age: 7|  Weight: 11-11| J: Jonathan England| T: S England| OR:  109| BFWS

This will be his third stable (makes his debut for them here) having shown some useful form in the past but was beaten in a seller last time having shown little aptitude for chasing. First run back from a wind op; well treated on old form.

Cashed-in on a drop in grade to win his final start for Brian Ellison; landed a Hexham seller over 2m. Ran with credit on his first run for this yard when finishing 4th off a 1lb higher mark; consistent sort whose not totally out of this.

Age: 7|  Weight: 11-10| J: Jamie Hamilton| T: M Walford| OR:  108
7/1
Going through a good spell having been claimed by this yard out of a Worcester seller winning on stable debut in a 2m chase (well supported). Looked to have a little in hand despite his quirky nature (lazy); might not be able to back up last run.

Barrys Jack203
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-9| J: Craig Nichol| T: B Ellison| OR:  107| CD
16/1
Dual C&D winner but has rather gone off the boil since completing a handicap hat-trick late last year (all wins on soft/heavy). Drops in class and off a lower mark now back from a break but does need to recapture some spark to get involved.

Age: 6|  Weight: 11-9| J: A Nicol| T: P A Kirby| OR:  107

Opening mark looked rather harsh but he showed improved form to cope with it and land a Wetherby handicap hurdle over 2m. Produced one of his better runs since over C&D when 2nd here in April; travels well and trip will suit after 2m4f last time.

Castletownb154
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-9| J: Henry Brooke| T: Miss P Robson| OR:  107
10/1
Took an age to get off the mark (had flattered to deceive on several occasions) but finally did so at Perth (2m4f) in April. Last seen when back over fences at the same venue in a better race; has run well fresh but finishing effort remains weak.

Age: 6|  Weight: 11-7| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: B Ellison| OR:  105
20/1
Still to win a race (0-5 over hurdles) and looks just a modest type although she moved well through a Market Rasen handicap last time. Ultimately didn't find much for pressure and needs more of s stamina test; cheekpieces first-time.

Spin The Coin241
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-6| J: B S Hughes| T: D McCain Jnr| OR:  104

Very unfortunate not to have landed a race here already on the inner track when going clear and falling at the last having shown improved form on his handicap debut. Now receives a different test (different track/shorter trip); still of interest.

St George's Oval93
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-5| J: Aaron Anderson(7)| T: L Egerton| OR:  103

Makes his debut for this yard having departed from Daniel Loughnane although he was way below any sort of form when last seen at Bangor. Has a couple of decent efforts to his name but not one of the leading lights in this.

Satis Houset340
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-4| J: Mr R Wilson(7)| T: S Corbett| OR:  102

Well held on the Flat her form over hurdles has been fairly modest failing to progress in that sphere. Now back from a break making her handicap debut and hard to make a cogent case for her winning this.

No Boundariesh39
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-4| J: Callum Bewley| T: S Waugh| OR:  102
50/1
Modest form over hurdles with his best effort coming when 4th in a heavy ground Newcastle novice over 2m. Failed to complete on his handicap debut and didn't fare much better on the second occasion; best watched.

Outback Blue53
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-2| J: Jonathon Bewley(3)| T: G Bewley| OR:  100WS
25/1
Not without his quirks and yet to win over hurdles (dual Flat winner) but has failed to build on his one decent hurdles effort at Uttoxeter in June. Well beaten in his one handicap so far and returns from wind surgery with something to prove.

Bahama Moon223
Age: 6|  Weight: 11-1| J: Jonjo O'Neill Jr.(5)| T: J & A O'Neill| OR:  99
12/1
Fairly useful sort on the Flat (won off 77 over 1m2f) and looks to have been brought along with handicaps in mind over hurdles. Given a mark after four runs this will be his handicap debut; likely to need a sharp test and quick ground.

Horse silk
Green Zone8
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-12| J: Ross Chapman(3)| T: Miss L Harrison| OR:  96
10/1
Consistent sort at this level and still looks on a decent mark (6lb above latest winning one but below highest winning mark). Has looked in good form since winning at Perth (favourite venue) in September; should be on the premises.

Age: 5|  Weight: 10-8| J: Lorcan Murtagh(3)| T: F P Murtagh| OR:  92| D
100/1
Fair sort on the Flat and scored on his hurdles debut for Nicky Henderson but it's been all downhill since then and he's looked badly out of sorts of late. Pulled up when last seen in this sphere he can only be watched in this.

Basically remains with one standout effort on her dance card (Hexham win over 2m off 93) although she has shown a little more of late after some poor efforts. Again without her usual hood here and more needed to get involved.

Hot Gossip17
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-0| J: Danny McMenamin(7)| T: Mrs Dianne Sayer| OR:  80

Still has little form on the Flat or over jumps; merely plugged on under today's rider when last seen and not one to get over involved with even at this lowly level on the evidence so far.

Verdict

A big field go to post but in truth the majority of them only have a minimal chance of winning with very few genuine improvers in the line up. Take A Break despite his rather lazy/quirky nature could well go well again with Suggestion another who has on occasions caught the eye. Spin The Coin has a score to settle with the course although this will be a different test to the one he faced when falling at the final hurdle when last here. Given his connections, handicap mark and wind op Wishfull Dreaming is worth watching for a market move and the consistent Green Zone is sure to run well. A chance is taken with BAHAMA MOON who given his Flat form may be well treated on his handicap debut.
