Running without success at Listed and Group level in the summer. First time cheekpieces fitted and any market move should be monitored here.
Third of 10 beaten a little over 1L on AW debut here over C&D in August. Open to plenty of improvement on this surface.
C&D winner over 12-months ago and not beaten far in subsequent starts here over 7f and this trip when beaten a neck in September off a 4lb higher mark. Yard usually perform well here around this time of year.
His two career wins have come over this trip. Not beaten far on debut here over 7f last month and has the form to make a bold bid dropping in distance.
11th of 14 in this contest 12-months ago. Gallant front-runner who always runs his race on both turf and here where he is a dual C&D winner. Racing 1lb higher than last winning mark and capable of a big run.
Behind Geological when finishing fourth of 10 on first try here in August over C&D. Yard usually in sparkling form round here at this time of year and one for the shortlist.
Very lightly raced gelding formerly with John Gosden who has clearly had his problems. Ran well on return to action at Limerick before disappointing at Naas in a couple of starts last month. Others hold stronger profiles.
Running well in defeat on turf over the summer but needs to raise overall performance to add to his sole AW success at Kempton when with John Gosden.
Finished ¾L ahead of Arcanears over 5½L at Navan last month off a 5lb lower mark. C&D winner, though that was over four years ago in a two-year-old maiden. Entitled to make the shortlist.
Course winner that has also won over this trip. Finished 2L behind ready winner Luna's Luck over 7f here last month and any repeat of that run in first-time cheekpieces puts him in the mix here.
Has produced a couple of solid and consistent runs here without success following a win on the Laytown beach in September. Place claims.
Forecasts
Admirality (13/8), Freescape (13/2), Geological (7/1), Fit For Function (7/1), Spanish Tenor (10/1), Arcanears (10/1), Bay Of Skaill (12/1), Sors (14/1), Amanaat (16/1), Wajeez (16/1), Mr Scarlet (25/1)
Jockey Shane Foley can settle ADMIRALITY just off the pace of perennial front-runner Geological, making his move to land the spoils here to build on his second of 11, beaten in the final strides over 7f on his AW debut here last month. With the stable usually going well at this venue around this time of year, the Mick Halford-trained Arcanears can transpire to be the biggest danger to the selection, while Sors and the gallant Geological can battle for the remaining place.
