Won over this C&D previously and may be suited by step back up in trip, however needs to lift on current form.
One win from 32 starts and disappointing when failing to beat a rival home in his latest two starts. Opposable on track debut.
Latest second over 1m2f at Kempton would put him right in this but appeared not to stay over 1m5f at Bath previously and this trip has to rate a concern.
Has three course wins to his name including two over this distance. Tailed off on return to the Flat and remains a touch high in the weights.
Veteran who has amassed 10 career wins down the years including two at this venue. Needs to lift though on latest two starts.
Has appreciated the latest change of stables with a second and a win over 1m4f here. Stays this trip fine and remains on a workable mark. Leading contender.
10-race maiden under all codes and while he didn't get a clear run at Lingfield on his return to the Flat, this requires plenty more.
Tailed off behind Calvinist here last time gives her plenty to find and better suited by the fibresand. Best watched.
Veteran who finished clear of the third when runner-up over this trip at Chelmsford and went one better over further at this track. Only up 2lb and should be involved.
Goes well here and returns off the back of two wins from his last four (both at Bath). Stayed the 1m5f with a strong finish and no reason he can't be in the mix again.
Probably given too much to do off a slow pace over further last time and this trip could prove ideal. In good form and respected.
Bath winner three starts back but that win is looking moderate. Well beaten now in all five AW runs and others preferred.
One win over hurdles but remains a maiden in this sphere and needs to step up on latest two starts. Others look stronger candidates.
Forecasts
Calvinist (2/1), Yasir (5/1), Thahab Ifraj (7/1), Hussar Ballad (8/1), Spiritual Man (9/1), Glasgon (10/1), Harbour Force (16/1), Filament Of Gold (20/1), Street Jester (25/1), Hallstatt (33/1), Dream Serenade (33/1), Captain George (50/1), Berry De Carjac (100/1)
CALVINIST has changed scenery a few times but has really hit form for his latest trainer and the step up in distance is only a plus. Yasir is also on a competitive mark and can chase him home while Filament Of Gold and Glasgon should both be considered over this distance.
- Calvinist
- Yasir
- Filament Of Gold
