£65,000 two-year-old purchase by Distorted Humor. Eye-catcher on debut and made no mistake when sent off at odds-on at Kempton over this trip last time. Sets a good standard to aim at and leading contender under a penalty.
Creachadoir colt who's price rose from €9,000 as a yearling to €38,000 as a two-year-old. Always in rear on debut at Goodwood and needs to take a big step forward on AW debut.
Son of Showcasing that is closely related to smart performer Silent Echo. Dam was a winner over 1m as a two-year-old. Market check needed on debut.
Already gelded son of Kodiac that fetched 100,000 gns as a yearling. Dam a winner over 6f and a half-sister to Group 1 winner Zoffany and Group 2 winner Rostropovich. Likely to know job on debut.
Son of Alhebayeb that was a very cheap at just €2,000 as a foal. Dam was unraced and yard not known for two-year-old winners. Best watched.
Heeraat colt whose price rose from 30,000 gns as a foal to 100,000 gns as a yearling. Related to several smart performers and yards runners tend to know their job. Leading player.
Already gelded son of Paco Boy. Dam was a decent dual-purpose performer winning on the flat and over hurdles. Plenty of stamina in the pedigree and market check needed.
27,000gns yearling that has a Derby entry. Has looked green and slow on two starts so far and needs to do plenty more to be involved.
Well held on all three starts so far and likely to be better suited to handicaps further down the line.
Forecasts
Alexa Rose (5/4), Kodiac Pride (11/4), Motakhayyel (3/1), Deference (8/1), Renegade Master (25/1), Savoy Brown (33/1), Dadalwayswantedone (40/1), Lucachangretta (66/1), Road To Paris (100/1)
ALEXA ROSE sets a pretty clear standard after her comfortable win at Kempton last time. She should be pretty tough to beat once again. The market will be useful in terms of the newcomers but Kodiac Pride and Motakhayyel both make plenty of appeal.
