Winless on his first 15 starts but has won three times in five outings since July and produced a career best at Newcaslte last time on his return to AW. 5lb rise for that looks perfectly fair and he shouldn't be underestimated here.

Three-time course winner (two C&D) but struggling for any sort of form recently and losing run now stands at 18. Hasn't as much as placed in that time and hard to fancy at present. Wears first-time cheekpieces.

Two time C&D winner but hasn't won from a mark this high in her 28 Flat starts and while she was particularly impressive when last seen in this sphere, likely she was flattered a little by that run.

C&D winner back in February but he's been struggling from his revised mark since and his overall record of three wins from 48 starts is off putting. Others preferred.

Well beaten on each of her three starts in maiden company. Steps up in trip on handicap/AW debut and market can reveal expectations.

Still a maiden after four starts but placed here on yard debut in February. May come on for her recent reappearance at Navan when a respectable seventh of 19 and can't be ruled out provided the wide draw is no hindrance.

Off the mark at the ninth attempt when winning a Killarney apprentice handicap in August but hasn't built on that in two runs since. Drawn wide and needs to improve for the switch to AW to play a part.

All nine of his Flat wins have come here, including four over this trip. Returned to form with a game second last time, and while his losing run is mounting up, he's well handicapped as a result. Fascinating contender.

Still a maiden after eight starts. Produced one of her better efforts here last time out on AW debut but needs to build on that to have a say here.

A maiden after six starts but his effort over C&D last time out on AW debut was a much improved effort. 3lb higher here but less exposed than some and remains capable of better.

Well beaten on each of her five career starts, all at big odds and hard to make a case for after only beating one home in a 16 runner contest at Gowran Park last time out.

Improved from debut to finish fifth of 13 in a claiming race here last month. Well beaten back on turf last time but not ruled out on handicap debut markedly up in trip. Market can guide.

Well beaten in a trio of maidens but produced a better effort on handicap debut over C&D last time out when upped in trip. May be able to build on that. Wears a first-time tongue-tie.

First Reserve: Well beaten on three of her four starts and her best effort came in claiming company here last month; more needed.

Verdict

A highly competitive finale to the card and it's the veteran SHAKE THE BUCKET who gets the nod. He produced a much improved effort last time out and is well enough handicapped to take this if he can back produce a similar run here. Sleepy Head and Trautmann are two more runners who arrive in form and haven't been dealt with too harshly by the handicapper.
