Novice who scored in novices' company at Bangor (2m½f, good) last time. Handicapper has left his mark alone and he now tries handicapping. Unexposed and can go well.
Dual bumper winner at this track in 2016 and returns here for the first time since then, having been unable to win over hurdles elsewhere. Would have a chance from this mark if ready on her handicap debut and goes well fresh.
Placed in all of his first five hurdles from 2m-2m4f and mainly on a sound surface. Below par last time. Enters handicaps on a feasible mark and it would be no surprise to see him get competitive.
Hexham specialist who won there for the fourth time in June (2m4f) when 5lb lower. Capable of making an impact from this mark, but more needed to win from it.
Sole win came in a Navan maiden on the Flat in 2014. Best hurdles run in Ireland would give him claims from this mark, but so far that was a one-off. Not written off, but has a bit to prove.
Arrives seeking a hat-trick after back-to-back Sedgefield wins (2m1f, good to firm and 2m4f, good). Carries 7lb penalty, but looks to have claims again if as effective at this venue.
Came good at the 16th attempt over hurdles when scoring over C&D last time. Has gone up just 2lb for that. Should be thereabouts, but needs to eek out a bit more to follow-up.
Has made the frame in a bumper and a couple of novice hurdles at around this trip. Enters handicap company on a stiff enough mark. Market should be a guide to her chance.
Scored at Sedgefield (2m1f, good to firm) in August, when 5lb lower. Ran well again here last time. 2lb drop won't harm and not ruled out.
Dual bumper winner last autumn (on good/good to soft). Hurdles form so far has not been up to that level, but initial mark looks feasible and he is interesting with cheekpieces fitted.
Back over hurdles on his two starts since joining this trainer. Better effort last time, but looks up against from this mark.
Sole success to date came in another of these qualifiers at Hexham in June, when 1lb lower. Bettered that here last time, but more needed to win again.
Yet to win over hurdles in Britain (won three in France on heavy at up to 2m2f). Runner-up from 3lb lower when last seen over fences in May. Since won at Ayr (1m7f) on the Flat, but up against it from out of the handicap.

An interesting race where handicap debutants Val Mome and Tokaramore could both go well, but it is a fellow newcomer to this sphere CHANCEANOTHERFIVE who is suggested. Keith Dalgleish's gelding has been given a mark that his bumper form suggests could be lenient and first-time cheekpieces could help him break his hurdles duck. St George's Oval, Chookie Royale, An Fear Cluin and Icefall are others of interest.

- Val Mome
