Lightly raced 4yo that came good at Bath last time out, winning easily, but might have been slightly flattered by winning margin as race panned out well for him. Obviously going the right way but this is tougher under a penalty.

Very useful individual once upon a time but operates at a much lower level these days, and is probably best watched after an absence here, having not shown much before it.

Veteran that tends to run his race when dropped to this grade (beaten just a nose at Ayr in September last time he tried it), ideally could have done with a bit more rain but fairly handicapped and may go close.

Improving 3yo that's a winner of two of his last three, and showed the step up to this trip holds no terrors when a brave winner at Chester last time out. Another for whom a bit more rain would have been ideal but clear chances again.

Tends to be held up in his races and a decent pace will suit (not guaranteed here) generally been in good form but step up to this trip didn't being about any improvement last time out and could be the handicapper has hold of him now.

Winner over this trip at Beverley in June and nothing if not consistent since then, placed on all four occasions but as a result, does seem in the grip of the handicapper. Good pilot booked though, and step back up in trip may help.

Very well handicapped on the best of his form in Ireland but a long time since he's shown anything approaching that, and now starts out life for another new yard. Only of interest if there's strong market support.

Twice a winner last year, had shown little this year prior to his win in a seller at Redcar last time and the handicapper was unimpressed, actually dropping him 3lb. That may have least done her confidence good, but this is much harder.

Twice a winner in soft ground at Hamilton last year but has found life harder this term. Looks on a winning mark but yet to convince this trip is really what he wants, and not hard to look elsewhere for the winner.

Tends to race over further these days but past record at this trip isn't dreadful, and he seemed to refind some form when third at 100-1 at Redcar last week. Has to be a worry that he'll find this too sharp though.

No win in eight starts but stays this trip and young enough to improve. Came back off a break (and wind surgery) to run down the field at Hamilton but should strip fitter here, and might do better with that under his belt.

Pops up from time to time but usually over longer trips than today's, and comes here in no real form after three moderate efforts this autumn. Hard to make much of a case for.

On the plus side, has a decent record at Doncaster (a win and place from three starts) but a couple of recent efforts leave a bit to be desired, and has ground to make up with one or two of these. Others make more appeal.

Twice a winner in the spring, both those wins coming over this trip, and now back on last winning mark, so has a bit going for her in that respect, but recent runs have been below par and this pilot has twice been well beaten on her.

Couple of good efforts at this trip in the summer, a win and a close second, and as his three runs at 12f haven't been anywhere near that standard, does appear this is his trip. Excellent pilot booked and could easily bounce back here.

Sprang a 40-1 surprise at Hamilton in the summer but showed that no fluke when almost winning again at Beverley last month (under this rider). Ground should be fine and has e/w chances if putting best foot forward.

Almost came good over this trip at Windsor two starts ago and tan a bit better than finishing position suggests at Catterick last time, as he didn't get the 14f trip and weakened late. Tough task from out of the handicap here though, and needs more.

Forecasts

Tralee Hills (5/2), Kannapolis (11/4), Emerald Rocket (7/1), Mearing (8/1), Edgar Allan Poe (10/1), Zealous (14/1), French Resistance (14/1), Compass Hill (14/1), Dutch Coed (16/1), See The Sea (20/1), Thorntoun Care (22/1), Blue Medici (25/1), Silvery Moon (33/1), Fleetfoot Jack (33/1), Duke Of Yorkshire (33/1), Arcadian Sea (40/1), Dose (50/1), Tha'ir (50/1), Pecheurs De Perles (50/1), Dutch Artist (66/1)

Verdict

Tralee Hills will rightly be popular with Simon Walker booked having won at Bath, but at bigger odds, a chance is taken on the veteran SILVERY MOON, who has an excellent record at this level of competition, and will find this much easier than when running in a Class 2 handicap at Redcar last time. Mearing and Emerald Rocket have solid form claims, but both are drawn very wide, which complicates matters.
