C&D winner whose successes this term have come at Newcastle. Disappointing when last of 5 to Mankib in a 7f handicap at Newbury last time, but could well bounce back.
Third in a 5f Listed race at the Curragh in May, but off the track until running below form over 1m at Limerick last time, and has a bit to prove, for all that run may have been needed.
Lost his form after making a winning return at Newmarket in April. Becoming well handicapped, and excuses last time (started slowly), so no surprise to see him bounce back from 4lb lower than when a luckless fifth a year ago.
Won off a higher mark at York last October, and back to form in a change of headgear when fourth in the corresponding event last time. Usual cheekpieces back on now, and respected.
Runner-up in this race in 2016, but finds this trip on the sharp side these days, notwithstanding a good fourth in the mud Ayr two starts back. Again ran well at favoured venue last time, but may be found wanting for speed here.
Yet to score this season despite a couple of respectable efforts, and below his best when seventh of 11 over 6f at Ripon last time. Cheekpieces reached for now, and others preferred.
Better on Tapeta, but still a useful performer on turf. Best effort on this surface of late when second at Goodwood in August, but just a respectable eighth of 13 to Fille de Reve at Ascot last time.
Took advantage of a good opportunity to win a four-runner handicap at Newmarket (6f) in August, but ran poorly over 7f at the same track last time, and not proving the easiest to catch right.
Four-times winner for Richard Hannon, but he's been in the handicapper's grip for a while, and below form on first start for a new yard at Ascot, albeit in a red-hot contest.
Has made a promising start for this yard taking a Wolverhampton maiden in July. Not so good on turf the last twice, however, and still looks a bit high in the weights on this surface.
Took advantage of a reduced mark when winning over 6½f here last month. Stiff task in Listed company last time, but may again fin d a few too quick for him at this distance.
Won a C&D nursery last November, and having slipped in the weights, got back to winning ways at York last time, beating Gin In The Inn by 2¼L. May find a 7lb rise too much to overcome.
Won at Redcar in August off 6lb lower, and good second next time. Not disgraced since, although didn't find much when sixth of 19 to Captain Jameson at York last time.
Good fourth in competitive handicap at Ripon in August, but often flatters to deceive, and he's been disappointing on his last three starts.

AEOLUS has lost his form, but has had excuses on his last two starts, and is now 4lb lower than when an unlucky fifth in this race 12 months ago, so could bounce back with his yard in good heart. Teruntum Star was back in the groove at York last time and is respected, with Amazour expected to bounce back from a rare poor run at Newbury.
