Stepped up to land a weak race at Huntingdon last week. Looks a tricky ride for an inexperienced pilot and a penalty also makes a follow-up less likely.
Now 13lb below his winning mark of a year ago when blinkers made a difference. Aids refitted here for an ordinary race but he is not one to take a short price about.
Out of sorts when last seen but last two victories have come after a break and he is on a good mark at present.
Winless since March 2016 and has tumbled more than 40lb down the weights since. Out of the handicap here and arrives on the back of another tame effort last week.

Forecasts
Hoke Colburn (7/4), Abbeygrey (9/4), Cernunnos (9/4), Heavenly Promise (9/4), Irish Thistle (9/1)
This will take little winning and Heavenly Promise is the enigma in this as her best has come at Bangor and she has usually needed a couple of runs to come to hand. Nevertheless, she has an experienced rider on board and underfoot conditions to suit if the market indicates she looks ready. Hoke Colburn has a stiff task under his penalty for beating a poor lot last week. He is not one to take a short price about nor is Cernunnos. On the other hand ABBEYGREY goes well fresh and lurks on a dangerous mark if conditions do not prove too quick.
- Abbeygrey
- Heavenly Promise
