Gained his first win since May 2016 when scoring at Brighton this month, but just a respectable fourth under a penalty there last time, and opposable despite being 3lb lower here.

Has a couple of respectable efforts off higher marks at Kempton to her name, and in the mix if finding that form, but ran poorly last time, and remains a maiden after plenty of chances.

Sprung a 33/1 shock at Nottingham in August, but readily put in her place off revised mark on next two starts, and balance of form leaves her plenty to prove.

Can run the odd stinker, as when tried in blinkers for the first time at Wolverhampton on latest outing, but also has several solid efforts in AW handicaps to his name, and no surprise to see him bounce back with the headgear retained.

Now 8lb lower than when winning at Newmarket last year but nowhere near that in five starts this campaign and yet to place in four on the AW.

Improved on first try for Jessica Harrington when winning 7f Roscommon handicap in June. Not matched that form for current yard, but fared better than the bare result at Wolverhampton last time, and beginning to slip down the weights.

Form became regressive and tailed off on last two starts for Mark Johnston. Gelded prior to return for new yard at Kempton, where he showed nothing.

Good second at Chepstow in August, but profile is not convincing, and she has been below form in two starts since. Needs blinkers to sharpen her up.

Well held in four starts last year for Dave Evans, and has failed to beat a rival in two outings for new yard. Excuses on first of those runs, but none last time.

Connections' patience surely wearing thin now, as this filly has shown no form of note in a variety of company.

Forecasts

Exeat (15/8), Magwadiri (9/2), Fieldsman (5/1), Oskemen (6/1), Mezmaar (6/1), Luna Bear (7/1), It's Not Unusual (8/1), Lamb Chop (8/1), La Sioux (14/1), Lucky's Dream (50/1), Patienceisavirtue (66/1), White Tower (66/1)

Verdict

OSKEMEN ran poorly last time, but he's bounced back from similar runs in the past, and makes plenty of appeal on the balance of his AW form. Mezmaar is running well and should be thereabouts after a good second here last time, and is preferred to Fieldsman and Exeat, who are much more likely to be placed that win given their records.
