Newcomer by Rip Van Winkle out of a 6f winning dam successful at two and later at Group Three level. Ought to be a suitable to start and yard's two-year-olds come to hand late on in the season so market check advised.

Gregorian filly made a pleasing start to her career when second at Kempton (1m) on the AW, finishing second. Certainly more to come after that positive start and rates a serious contender here despite change of surface and trip.

Newcomer by Sayif cost £3500 as a yearling as a sister to a 1m AW two-year-old winner and half-sister to two more winners. Trainer 0-23 with two-year-olds this season so best watched for now.

Filly by Lethal Force is the first foal out of a useful 1m-1m2f wining dam from a good family at around 1m. Likable enough pedigree but trainer's two-year-olds tend to need their first race.

Filly by Mukhadram was retained by her vendor for 8,000gns. Half-sister to a 1m2f-1m3f winner out of German winning dam from a good family at 1m plus. Trainer one from 33 with two-year-olds this season so best watched.

Third on debut at Kempton (AW) behind a subsequently Group Two placed filly and again ran well next when second to a seemingly useful sort at the same venue, both starts over 7f. Switch to turf the only question mark because her form is rock solid.

Born To Sea filly made an eye-catching debut last month when she stayed on really nicely after a slow start in a C&D maiden eventually finishing third. More to come for sure and looks the one they all have to beat here.

Finished last on debut at Leicester and little improvement next when ninth of 11 at Kempton in a first-time hood which she retains. Very hard to make a case.

Never involved in two starts to date at Salisbury and Nottingham and beaten over 10L in each of them. Likely need more time and distance.

Forecasts

Rainbow Heart (4/6), Pytilia (5/2), Filles De Fleur (7/1), Chop Chop (10/1), Pamper (14/1), Tartlette (25/1), Parknacilla (66/1), Indian Sea (66/1), Iris's Spirit (150/1), Storm Athena (200/1)

Verdict

William Haggas and Ryan Moore are always feared when teaming up and they have a good chance here with RAINBOW HEART who ran well on debut and the filly looked sure to improve for that experience. Pytilia rates the biggest danger after two positive efforts on the AW; if as effective back on turf she will go close. Filles De Fleur is another with good AW form now switching to turf.

  3. Filles De Fleur
