Successful over C&D in May, but has not been able to repeat that feat off higher marks. Handicap mark remains quite stiff and he may prefer better ground.
May have found 1m4f too far when a creditable third of 10 at Newmarket in August. Off the track since then, but can go well over the C&D at which he was successful last season. Cut in the ground suits.
Dropped significantly in trip when fourth of 12 at Goodwood eight days ago. This trip may also be on the short side, but he is likely to be running on when others have cried enough.
Back-to-back victories at Redcar and Doncaster in August. Did not take to hurdles at Huntingdon recently and will be much happier returned to the level on a feasible rating.
Has cut little ice since winning on the AW at Kempton in January, but the handicapper is relenting and he has few miles on the clock. Tongue tied for the first time.
Scored over C&D in April, but was well held returned to this venue in June and has been off the track since. Could have more to offer after his break and the ground ought to suit.
Three runs since joining current trainer from Sylvester Kirk and has run creditably in each. Not badly handicapped and is an interesting contender.
Series of good efforts over shorter distances, but remains a maiden after 12 races. Longer trip well worth a try and he went close on soft ground at Epsom in August.
First run since being gelded when finishing in mid-division at Epsom last month and is down 2lb. Landed his maiden on heavy ground and is of interest with so little mileage.
Winner over 1m on the Lingfield AW before finishing a creditable fourth of 10 off 5lb higher at this track. Runs off the same mark, but has never won over this far.
First run since being gelded when down the field over 1m4f at Kempton last time. Has finished second twice over this trip on turf and has prospects off his lowest mark so far if handling the going.
Up the handicap after two wins in his last four starts. Not at his best at Bath on latest outing and he has to prove he is effective with juice in the ground.
Forecasts
Dream Machine (4/1), Turnpike Trip (9/2), Ace Ventura (9/2), Cuban Heel (6/1), Thistimenextyear (7/1), Hidden Depths (7/1), Optimum Time (9/1), Family Fortunes (25/1), Artieshow (25/1), Chance To Dream (25/1), Andok (25/1), Peace And Plenty (33/1)
Cases can be made for quite a view of these, but the short list is headed by Turnpike Trip, Andok, Family Fortunes, Cuban Heel and ACE VENTURA. The selection won his maiden with plenty of cut in the ground and could have further improvement in him. Hidden Depths and Peace And Plenty are respected at the foot of the weights,
- Ace Ventura
- Cuban Heel
- Andok
