Run out of things late in the day over C&D last time and had his limitations exposed once more. That was his best effort for a while but his lack of consistency is off-putting. Stiff test under top weight.

Grey Hare38
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-6| J: Ryan Tate| T: A W Carroll| OR:  59

Form up to press has been very modest and hard to see the switch to the Polytrack initiating the amount of improvement required.

Nervous Nerys7
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-6| J: Ray Dawson(5)| T: R Spencer| OR:  59

Last two runs have been encouraging and got on well with tonight's 5lb claimer when fourth of ten here last week. Hard to split stable preference between him, Cobweb Catcher and No Diggity, but the betting can provide a more reliable clue.

Trypically being kept busy by her in-form yard but the filly has lacked a turn of foot on occasions and wouldn't be one to trust implicitly. Improvement needed.

Lady Mazie94
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-6| J: K T O'Neill| T: J C Fox| OR:  59

Three previous starts have been of a modest level and she has struggled to make an impact. Not too harshly treated for this handicap debut but others make more appeal.

Form figures uninspiring so far and only a modest hint of ability shown up to press. Bred to be very effective at this trip and the switch to an AW track might help but plenty to prove at present.

Global Mythv133
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-2| J: G Mosse| T: E A L Dunlop| OR:  55

Well beaten in all three starts so far and the first-time visor needs to have a dramatic impact to prompt a better effort.

No Diggityb16
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-0| J: Charles Bishop| T: R Spencer| OR:  53

0-7 so far and has been struggling even in selling grade of late. The stable has other options here and this fellow looks to be the lesser candidate from the yard's trio on show.

Willa's Wish39
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-13| J: George Downing| T: A W Carroll| OR:  52
16/1
Didn't show much in three starts before a moderate effort on her nursery debut last time out. First try on the AW and is another with a lot to prove at present.

Eye Of The Water13
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-12| J: Liam Jones| T: R Harris| OR:  51| D
10/1
Surprise winner of a nursery on his penultimate start but faced a stiff test in a novice auction last time and was brushed aside n accordingly. Has gone here before, so place claims if he can bounce back.

Siona's Boyv36
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-11| J: Fran Berry| T: P D Evans| OR:  50
66/1
Only shown flashes of ability since returning from a gelding operation and makes limited appeal after faring badly on his only previous visit to this course. Also yet to convince that 6f is his ideal trip.

Valley Bellep36
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-11| J: David Egan| T: George Scott| OR:  50
11/2
Just in front of Siona's Boy at Ffos Las in September but wasn't beaten far over C&D previously (Eye Of The Water held on that piece of form). Dropped 2lb since and a feasible chance of making the frame but risky for win-only purposes.

Forecasts

Cobweb Catcher (9/4), No Diggity (11/2), Valley Belle (11/2), Global Myth (13/2), Lady Mazie (7/1), Eye Of The Water (10/1), Nervous Nerys (12/1), Parliament House (14/1), Willa's Wish (16/1), Abuja (20/1), Grey Hare (40/1), Siona's Boy (66/1)

Verdict

Not the strongest nursery of the day but possibly within the compass of NERVOUS NERYS, who can get one over on her stablemate Cobweb Catcher if she gets the breaks in running. The latter has a stiff test on these terms but makes a touch more appeal for a place than Valley Belle and Eye Of Water, who head the list of dangers posed by the rest.
  1. Nervous Nerys
  2. Cobweb Catcher
  3. Valley Belle
