Very consistent sort who got his head back in front at Dundalk last time. Course winner who is versatile with regards ground and is expected to go well again.
Hasn't won since landing a Listed race at York since 2015. Makes yard debut here and entitled to need the run on belated seasonal reappearance.
Listed winner at Killarney last year but hasn't quite managed to match that level of form this year. Well suited to cut in the ground and feasibly handicapped so should be thereabouts if he bounces back.
Won four times over similar trips on soft ground last year but hasn't shown enough form in four starts this year to make her of interest here.
Won a Listowel maiden on yard debut last month and not beaten far when runner-up at Limerick last week. Open to any amount of progress.
Has only won once since 2016 but very well-handicapped as a result and not ruled out if first-time cheekpieces spark a return to form. Won't mind conditions here.
Hasn't won since he was trained by Mark Johnston back in 2016. Disappointed last time at Tipperary and still winless in 24 starts on turf.
Gained a first win on his 13th career start at Leopardstown in August but couldn't land any sort of blow from his revised mark at Naas last time. More needed.
Gained a first win since 2016 at Fairyhouse earlier in the campaingn but has struggled from his revised handicap mark since. Needs first-time cheekpieces to work the oracle.
Two-time C&D winner earlier in the campaign and returned to form with an excellent second here last time out. Obvious player from just 1lb higher here.
Has won twice this season but form has seemingly tailed off in recent starts and she is still above her last winning handicap mark.
Won over a much shorter trip earlier in the campaign and while he's back below that winning mark, there's no obvious signs he wants this sort of test.
Two wins from 22 starts and has disappointed on his last couple of efforts. May need relief from the assessor before he's of interest again.
Won a maiden on debut but has won in 17 starts since and would need to improve markedly on his placed form from a claiming race last time out.
Latest win came on the beach at Laytown. Tends to run well at this course and he was a C&D winner much earlier in his career. Not ruled out if he can bounce back from a couple of below par efforts.
Two-time C&D winner and improved from her debut for this yard with a win at Cork last time. Only up 4lb for that and likely there's more to come from her.
Forecasts
Aussie Valentine (9/2), Shatharaat (11/2), Bucky Larson (7/1), Turbine (9/1), Mokhalad (10/1), Roibeard (10/1), Innamorare (12/1), Canary Row (12/1), Korbous (14/1), Dream Of Words (16/1), Dance Emperor (16/1), Gasta (16/1), St Gallen (16/1), Tony The Gent (20/1), Top Notch Tonto (20/1), Set In Stone (25/1)
BUCKY LARSON was a little unlucky to get caught close to home last time out but with a useful jockey claiming 5lb off his back and just a 1lb rise from the assessor, the gelding looks like the one to beat here. Aussie Valentine is always thereabouts and he may be able to build on his win at Dundalk last time while Canary Row is still well-handicapped.
- Bucky Larson
- Aussie Valentine
- Canary Row
