Killavullan Stakes (Group 3)

Sprang a 33/1 shock on debut at over 7f at The Curragh in August but found the drop down to 6f against him in Listed company subsequently. Will be happier going back up to this distance but bare form needs improving on.

Out of his depth last time and while generally consistent prior to that he is more exposed than these and probably place claims at best.

Didn't need to improve on his efforts in Group company to get off the mark at he fourth attempt in a Limerick maiden at this trip a week ago. Has shown a solid level of form on all starts and has to be considered.

Not disgraced in hot company during the summer but hasn't been able to take advantage of the drop to maidens last two runs and something to prove for now.

Showed a fine attitude when getting off the mark on second attempt in a Curragh maiden in July. Has struggled in group company in two runs since but back to a more realistic level now and can do better.

Penultimate run can be ignored having finished lame, but no excuses behind No Needs Never at Dundalk recently and has 4L to find with that rival today.

Progressing nicely with each start and his Dundalk win last time was a smart effort. That run sets the standard on form with the promise of more to come.

Impressive when well backed on Naas debut but didn't appear to have any excuse when beaten almost 2L by No Needs Never when odds on at Dundalk subsequently. Lightly raced so room for improvement.

Back on song in a tongue tie a week ago which is retained here but looked to struggle on only previous attempt at 7f and has stamina to prove.

Off the mark at the 10th attempt in a Cork maiden on penultimate start but not for the first time found this level beyond her since and likely to do so again.
