Easily the most experienced (and thus, exposed) runner in the line up. But has run some good races in defeat and sets the standard; possible he's better than he showed from a wide draw at Chester last time but still vulnerable on these terms.
Price dropped from 20,00 gns as a yearling to £15,000 to retained by the vendor as a two-year-old. Interesting enough pedigree for this trip but his yard has been quiet recently and very possible he'll be a lot sharper for the run.
Cost just £800 and makes limited appeal on pedigree. Likely to do better over further in time and best left to his own devices here.
Caught the eye at Beverley on debut in July but took a step backward when third of five at Hamilton shortly after (that winner subsequently placed in Group 3 in France). Given time to recover and probably more to come, so merits consideration here.
Has ability and handily drawn for a horse that likes to make the running. Going the right way and ought to be involved in the thick of the action if he continues to progress. Another to bear in mind. (Cost £68,000 as a yearling.)
Related to several versatile types and winners - including Shesastar, Sartori, and Shekan Star - and represents and in-form yard. The betting can be a good guide here.
Second foal of decent sprinter Shesastar; trip no issue on breeding. Yard going well just now and worth a betting check even though the filly lacks previous experience.
The penny dropped late in the day on her debut over 5f at Ripon in July, creating the impression another furlong will suit. Still needs to up her game to hold her own on that evidence and others may be more progressive just now.
Holds a similar profile to her stablemate of Lady Calcaria in that she was well held on debut but did start to make up ground near the finish. More required and is probably best watched.
Very much the second string behind a more expreinced stablemate on debut at Beverley and created the impression she has a lot to learn. Others readily preferred once more. (Yard also runs Roulston Scar here.)
Didn't get the clearest of passages on debut at Ripon but still caught the eye well enough to suggest she can find a race before too long. Looks a more likely type for a handicap, though.
Debuts for a new yard after two starts for Roger Varian; the last of which needs to be improved upon. The drop in trip isn't an obvious move on pedigree and the son of Teofilo needs to learn how to stay out of trouble. Interesting nonetheless.

A tough one to call but URBAN HIGHWAY has likable attributes and can make this a stern test for the rest. The selection has shown good speed in his starts so far and may find this flat track very much to his liking. Absolute Dream sets the standard at present and merits consideration but there could also be mileage in following any support that arrives for Gylo, who represents an in-form yard and could be worth chancing with a small investment for a place in the frame. Roulston Scar and Quduraat are a couple of others to bear in mind.
