Has joined Tony Carroll (also saddles Rightway) since finishing down the field over hurdles for Andrew McNamara at Listowel (2m) last month; 0-16 on the Flat and this trip is on the sharp side; market a guide.

Finished a neck in front of the re-opposing Sumner Beach when runner up to Harry George at Newcastle (1m) on her penultimate start; poor run on turf since, but is 2-8 on the AW and this looks more suitable.

25/1
13-race maiden (formerly with Richard Hannon); fair third over 7f in a fillies handicap here in April, but very difficult to identify any signs of natural progression since.

Lady Of Authority31
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-1| J: Danny Brock| T: R T Phillips| OR:  53| BF
14/1
11-race maiden; continues to fall in the weights, and somewhat surprisingly was sent off 3/1f (opened 25/1) when finishing eighth of 14 at Kempton latest; difficult to build any compelling case for her chances.

80/1
17-race maiden (0-5 for John O'Shea); well beaten on both previous AW starts; impossible to consider despite the paucity of viable opposition.

Age: 3|  Weight: 8-10| J: L Morris| T: E De Giles| OR:  48

€32,000 yearling; seven-race maiden; slowly getting the hang of racing with her penultimate 40/1 C&D second to subsequent ready winner Decoration Of War reading well in the context of this race.

Forecasts

Sumner Beach (3/1), Safrani (7/2), Creative Talent (7/2), Soaring Spirits (4/1), Liberisque (11/2), Totally Magic (10/1), Lady Of Authority (14/1), False Id (16/1), Rightway (20/1), Puchita (25/1), Dukes Meadow (25/1), One Liner (80/1)

Verdict

Difficult to fathom a case (or muster any real enthusiasm) for the vast majority of these runners, so the frustrating Sumner Beach must enter the equation despite a wide draw in stall 12. Safrani ran well enough at Chelmsford on Saturday evening (despite weakening late on), and could potentially build upon that improved showing for David O'Meara, but the most interesting runner is LIBERISQUE. Evidently she's no star, but she's slowly getting to grips with racing, and fortunately for her there's no Decoration of War in the field tonight, so she must surely go very close from her basement mark.
  1. Liberisque
  2. False Id
  3. Sumner Beach
