Improved with racing last year but has clearly had some setbacks and has only had two starts so far this term. Well held on both occasions and now has plenty of questions to answer. Dropping in weights and cheekpieces added but hard to fancy.
Generally races over further than this now and failed in repeat bid to win Newcastle contest last time. Is racing on a fair mark however and blinkers are now tried. Drop in trip is a worry.
Shown bits of ability so far but disappointing on handicap debut at Kempton (1m, AW) last time. Yard are having a good spell now so there is a chance we could now see some progress.
Previous C&D winner who hasn't won now for 15 starts. Easily brushed aside at Wolverhampton last time but is capable at this level on a going day so not easily dismissed.
Bounced back to form when getting up late on to win over this trip at Kempton last month off 1lb lower. Not at the same level back on turf next time but more than capable of bouncing back and would be a player if returning to Kempton effort.
Has run to a similar level on all four starts to date, and merely showed what a stiff mark she'd been allotted when down the field on handicap debut over 1m2f here three weeks ago. Dropped 2lb, but needs more help.
Still a maiden after 15 starts but often runs well in defeat. Has no secrets from the handicapper as a result but riders claim will help and tongue-tie is now fitted for the first time. Should run his race once again.
Went close over 7f here in February, but that was quite a messy race, and she's struggled to make a major impact in handicaps. Slipping in the weights, and blinkers replace cheekpieces now, but others preferred again.
Form has been a little in-and-out so far this year and handicapper hasn't been keen to relent. Easily brushed aside at Wolverhampton last time and now needs plenty more. Hood goes on first time.
Has shown glimmers recently that his turn may not be far away. Having said that his finishing effort was a little weak at Kempton last time. Leading rider booked and is on an good mark now. Claims if raising his game.
Has shaped like a bit further than this would be ideal but was too keen on first attempt over longer trip. Stayed on well again over C&D here last time and is another 1lb lower. Could be improvement to come now but needs to start a little better.
Tailed off on handicap debut in first-time cheekpieces. Visor now goes on and dropped another 5lb but needs a large step forward to be involved.
