Won a 1m seller at Brighton last month before being sold for 4,200 gns at auction. Sound effort over 1m3f at Kempton next time but took a step backwards her over 1m2f after. Now goes up a long way in trip and needs to prove stamina with hood added.

Only four starts so far and has made some steady progress. Best effort so far on handicap debut at Newcastle (1m4½f, AW) last time and shapes like this trip will suit.

Been a bit disappointing since stepping up in trip in handicaps of late. Visor made no real difference last time and is retained here. Goes up further in trip.

Has one or two pieces of form that would make this mark seem pretty appealing. Yet to absolutely convince she stays this far but visor added now and deserves another chance.

Maiden after eight starts and hasn't really looked like winning as of yet. This trip promises to suit and leading rider has been booked. Every chance of a better showing now.

Form has really tailed off and took an age to get going at Kempton last time. That style of racing generally doesn't suit here so we need to be a bit more on the ball early here. Claims if on a going day.

Best effort for a while over C&D last week when hitting the front turning for home but getting readily outpaced late on. Needs to step up on that now.

Still a maiden after 12 starts. Shaped like he was capable off this sort of mark for his previous yard but well below form in three outings for this yard. Mark falling all the time.

Age: 3|  Weight: 8-12| J: David Egan| T: C Wallis| OR:  49

Still a maiden after 15 starts but ran well here two starts back over a shorter trip. Shapes like 2m will suit and could be ready to up his game now.

Forecasts

Navajo Squaw (3/1), The Fiddler (3/1), Duggary (6/1), Enchanting Enya (7/1), Alexis Carrington (7/1), Pollyissimo (10/1), Stand Firm (10/1), Contingency Fee (20/1), Normandy Blue (25/1)

Verdict

Plenty of these are going up in trip having not had the pace over shorter. Alexis Carrington and Duggary both fit that model and should be capable of better. POLLYISSIMO is yet to win but there have been glimmers of hope that this trip will be much more suitable.
  1. Pollyissimo
  2. Alexis Carrington
  3. Duggary
