Ran well on seasonal reappearance here but followed that with a poor effort at Windsor and also twice over hurdles. Suited by much quicker ground and easy to oppose.
Returns to turf following three solid runs on the AW but is a hard horse to win with after just two successes from 26 starts. Hasn't looked suited by cut in the ground in the past but shouldn't be dismissed.
Had raced consistently well for new stable in five starts over hurdles before a disappointing run. Sole Flat win came in a Galway maiden back in 2013 but not many runs in this sphere since. Returns on a workable mark and suitable conditions.
Was having his first start for well over a year when down the field in a novice event at Chelmsford in July. Doesn't look on a great mark for handicap debut and others preferred.
Last win came in December 2016 and barring one run at Goodwood has been very disappointing this campaign. Needs to lift following two tailed off runs.
Only had the three starts but did at least show some improvement on return from a 10-month absence. Just looked to lack a turn of foot when required but could improve now going handicapping.
Six-race maiden who has run to a consistent level in last three handicap starts. Can be competitive again but questions to answer both at this trip and on this ground.
Finished two lengths behind Doctor Knox at Kempton and has now been well beaten on all three starts. Has a bit to find on handicap debut but does have an eye-catching jockey booking.
Slightly better at Windsor before taking a step backwards back over a mile at Kempton. Plenty of improvement required on handicap debut
Didnt quite stay the trip over further here last time and can prove competitive off current mark, however has looked far better suited by much quicker ground than this.
Can be inconsistent and a tricky customer but gained a second career win in a weak contest at Chelmsford last time. This will pose a stiffer test and stamina to prove.
Gets to race off a 5lb lower mark back on turf compared to the AW but hasn't impressed in four previous starts on this surface. Takes a sharp rise in distance and best watched.
Nine-race maiden who was completely tailed off on heavy ground at Ffos Las when returning to turf. Seems to need quicker ground and progress needed.
Forecasts
Sister Celine (7/2), Saumur (4/1), Lopito (4/1), Maknifico (13/2), Amitie Waltz (7/1), Doctor Knox (15/2), Miss M (10/1), Kendergarten Kop (14/1), Clovelly Bay (20/1), Iniesta (28/1), Rainbow Jazz (33/1), Il Sicario (50/1), Just Another Idea (50/1)
INIESTA has done well over hurdles for his new stable and remains lightly-raced on the Flat. He's on a good mark, handles the conditions and should run a big race. Saumur has obvious place potential once again providing the ground doesn't get too soft. Doctor Knox and Maknifico would be interesting if coming in for support on their handicap debuts.
- Iniesta
- Saumur
- Doctor Knox
