Dual 6f winner when 'soft' has been part of the going description. Lost his way since scoring at Ripon in April. Bought for £5,000 in August and drops in grade with cheekpieces now on for stable debut. Claims, particularly if it rains.
Scored on debut for this trainer at Lingfield (7½f, good to soft) in August. Went close next time from a mark of 65. Not as good in two runs since, so more needed to win again, even at this level, but not ruled out.
Won a Thirsk selling handicap over this trip (good to soft) in July. Held from higher mark in a handicap and also last time in a seller, since then. More needed, but has the ability to get involved.
Has produced some reasonable efforts in handicap company without winning, but looks up against it the way this race is framed.
100-1 and last of 11 on debut at Wolverhampton (6f, AW) in July. Can only watch.
0-11 and has shown very little for either Nigel Tinkler or his current trainer. Returns from wind surgery in a seller and unless that induces marked improvement, he looks very much up against it.
Has looked decidedly ordinary so far. Can only watch.
Won handicaps over 6f/7f last season, but only one effort this season has come close to emulating that. Thrashed in a seller over C&D in August and looks best to give him the swerve.
7½f winner on heavy at Ffos Las last year. A repeat of any of her best three handicap efforts would entitled her to very strong claims at these weights. Should go very close.
Thrashed in all three starts in novice/claiming company. Cheekpieces on, but can only watch on her first try in this sphere.
Runner-up in one of these at Lingfield (5f, AW) in December and again back there in a handicap (6f) in January, from a mark of 51. Has an absence to overcome here, as well as a tough call on grounds of ability.
0-13 so far, but often competitive in defeat. Improvement needed against some of these.

Lady Alavesa (7/4), Slipstream (7/2), Super Major (4/1), Watch Tan (5/1), Fortunate Vision (8/1), Northern Angel (10/1), Shovel It On (16/1), Confrerie (20/1), Raggs And Riches (50/1), Makofitwhatyouwill (50/1), Red Snapper (50/1), Redtedd (100/1), Luckie George (100/1)
A poor contest where LADY ALAVESA really ought to be good enough to win, given her level of form and how the weights are set. Fortunate Vision looks the main danger, but Slipstream, Northern Angel and Super Major are others with some sort of a chance.
- Lady Alavesa
- Fortunate Vision
- Slipstream
