Won at Leicester in July from reduced mark, and placed twice since in handicaps, most recently back there last week. Should give his running, but essentially back in the grip of the handicapper, and vulnerable for win purposes.
Below best last time, but she has gained two wins here this season in similar conditions, and no great surprise to see her return to form, with a strong pace likely to suit her usual hold-up tactics.
Has held his form well since winning at Chelmsford (7f) in June, and excuses last time when forced wide at Kempton. Interesting jockey booking back on turf, and one to keep on side.
Failed to meet market expectations on handicap debut at Southwell last time, but appears the stable's first string on riding arrangements, so presumably thought capable of better, and now tried in cheekpieces, which may help.
Mixed bag for current yard, but has run her best races over C&D, finishing second on final 2017 start, and again on latest outing in August behind Spinart. On a fair mark if she can back that up after a break.
Only win to date came in selling handicap over C&D last year. Has run well on the whole this time around, though, and mark is slipping to a workable level. Draw an imponderable, but no surprise to see him figure prominently.
Has won four times on AW, but yet to score on turf, and ran badly at Thirsk in August. Fared little better back on Polytrack after a break last time, and best watched at present.
Front-runner who was runner-up at Wolverhampton in July, but out of sorts since, and well beaten when tried in blinkers at Chelmsford last time.
Can pop up unexpectedly, but hard to predict. Much his best effort this year when second at Wetherby in May, but patchy form otherwise, and no obvious appeal from 5lb out of the weights here.
Just one place from 14 career starts, and while his penultimate fourth at this track is as good as anything he's achieved this year, he followed it with a poor effort at Kempton.
