Has improved since being switched to fences and jumped well to score decisively over C&D last time. Up 10lb, but has to go on the short list.
Winner and runner-up on first two starts over fences and was odds-on when a faller at Hexham last week. On a retrieval mission off the same mark and has strong claims if all is well after his tumble.
Maiden hurdler, but won his only point-to-point and his handicap mark looks fair for this first run over fences. Might need this first run since April.
Three fair runs over hurdles for David Dennis and starts out over fences for a new trainer. Has to overcome a lengthy absence, however, and may be sharper for the run.
Winner of six point-to-points for this trainer after joining the yard from David Pipe. Chasing debut and has been given a chance by the handicapper.
Well placed to win two handicap hurdles in the spring. Has won a point-to-point so should be able to cope with this first attempt over fences.
