Given the fact he slipped at a crucial stage of the race he didn't do badly when fourth at Newton Abbot in August having been a fair second here over 2m previously. Fair chance on handicap bow despite shouldering top weight.
Last hurdles win came on Boxing Day 2016 off an 11lb hgher mark but has been given a chance now off new rating and may not be far away if fit enough after 136-day absence representing last year's winning team.
Winning point-to-pointer who has hinted he's up to winning under Rules. Disappointing last two starts over fences but may do better now back over hurdles so improved dispaly cannot be ruled out.
13-race maiden who ran his best race for a while when runner-up last time at Newton Abbot. Slight drop back in trip won't harm and he has decent place claims, at least.
Won soft ground Chepstow novice hurdle back in April 2016 and scored last time out over two miles on the AW at Kempton so is fit and in form. Not hard to see him being in the thick of the action.
Won two mile handicap hurdle last term for Dan Skelton but has struggled for new connections and pulled up on both starts since this summer. Much more needed and is still 8lb above last winning mark.
Has won five times over hurdles but very much into the veteran stage now. Solid effort last time in seller here this summer on first start for 21 months. May strip fitter and is not out of the reckoning by any means.
10-race maiden who hasn't seen the track for 11 months and is probably going to be better for this return effort. Showed some form 18 months ago on softish ground but on balance is hard to recommend.
Disappointing mare who has placed just once from nine starts and looks of limited ability. Ran a little better at Market Rasen last time but despite falling mark looks up against it once again.
Beaten a long way in all seven starts under Rules and outside chance rests on recent wind op making a very big difference. On balance looks one to oppose.
11-race maiden under Rules but did run best race to date over C&D in July when second of 15 off 3lb higher mark. Poor form since but return here may give him a squeak off bottom weight.
