Has 128-day absence to overcome but has gone well fresh in the past and was a model of consistency last term in decent handicap company. Solid performer and looks sure to be in the thick of the action.

Won at Huntingdon in May off a mark of 122 but and ran a good race in defeat on seasonal return at Plumpton last time when a solid third. Appears on the up and has a decent chance once again.

Raised a hefty 12lb for an 8-length win at Worcester in July, which looks harsh. No fitness doubts after two subsequent Flat start but will do well to score off revised mark.

Won three out of four last summer for three different trainers, (including one chase) and competes off same mark as win in selling hurdle at Uttoxeter in June. This looks tougher so may be found wanting.

Only win came in Hereford noivce hurdle two years ago. Returns following wind operation after two modest efforts following 15-month absence. Has plenty of questions to answer.

Stayed on well to score at Worcester last month off a rating of 102 and only 2lb higher now. Not beaten far when third at Uttoxeter last time but was sloppy at her hurdles so needs to pick her hooves up if she is to get involved.

Verdict

FIDUX has gone well fresh in the past and is taken to make a winning return to the fray under Wayne Hutchinson. He was competitive in just about all starts last term and this race looks within his compass. Biggest danger may emerge from Shining Romeo who looked as though the run would do him good when a respectable third off this mark at Plumpton recently, and Haafapiece can't be ruled out of it despite having been clobbered by the handicapper for a cosy win at Worcester in July. Getting lumps of weight all round, Solstalla has place claims if brushing up her jumping.
