2L fourth of 28 in a 7f Curragh maiden on second start was a very promising effort so his subsequent 12th of 18 at Fairyhouse was disappointing. Must bounce back but Curragh form would give him a shout.

C&D third here lasts, the fifth time he's filled that slot. Second top rated here and form consistent enough to think that again he should be involved although again may find one or two too good.

Promising start behind a potentially smart Aidan O'Brien colt at Navan and built on that when third of 18 at Fairyhouse when favourite. Form of those two starts as good as any here and could improve further.

Pedro The Great colt never got involved on debut at the Curragh over 6f. Extra 1f should suit today but no evidence to recommend him on Curragh form.

Finished in midfield in three maidens to date including latest eighth of 18 at Curragh on his only start this year. Can improve on that upped in trip and in a first-time hood.

Well beaten in two starts to date and latest Navan 10th saw King's Field five places ahead on that colt's debut so hard to fancy here.

Newcomer by Vocalised is a half-brother to a 1m AW winner and three US winners. Trainer's debutants more often than not need the run but any market support would be notable.

Thrice placed filly finished seventh latest at Fairyhouse where the less exposed King's Field was third as favourite. Hard to envisage reversal so place claims at best here.

Big Bad Bob filly was in rear throughout on debut at Listowel last month although she passed a couple late on to be ninth (of 15). Big step forward needed.

Only beaten home three rivals in as many starts to date and very hard to find any sort of encouragement.

Down the field in all three starts and completely tailed off latest after a break at Navan (17th of 18).

Only beaten ½L on debut at Dundalk finishing third and although she was only ninth latest that was in a warmer 28-runner Curragh maiden. More needed but clearly has some ability so not totally ruled out.

Placed for the fourth time at Fairyhouse latest where she finished second of 18 with a whole host of these behind including considerably less exposed King's Field who was third. Form solid but others open to more improvement.

Newcomer by Zoffany out of a poor maiden who stayed 1m2f. Trainer has a very ordinary strike rate and no three-year old successes this season so best watched on debut.

Promising two-year-old was a 4L second to Group Two winner I Can Fly in her final start at Dundalk after also finishing second at Gowran. Fitness doubts after so long off but form as good as any so hard to overlook her.

Arakan newcomer is a half-sister to four ordinary winners and only cost €1,000 last year. Trainer's 20 runners this season all unplaced so makes little appeal.

Newcomer by top dirt/AW horse Curlin was unsold for $240,000 as a foal at auction. Half-sister to a 1m dirt winner in the US. Yard know the time of day so market may indicate expectations.

Soundly beaten in both starts including latest 16th of 28 at the Curragh at 100/1. Makes no appeal on that effort. Second Reserve.

Verdict

KING'S FIELD has shown plenty of ability in two starts to date and can give Joseph O'Brien who has a fine record here another winner in what has been another good season for the young trainer. Encantador finished one place ahead of the selection latest but was having her 14th race to the selection's two hence the expectation of a reversal. Raynama is interesting on her useful two-year-old form and she's a threat to all if ready.
  1. King's Field
  2. Encantador
  3. Raynama
