Broke her duck at the 20th attempt when scoring narrowly over 5f at Newcastle in August, and best effort since when third there last time. Not so reliable on turf, however.
Ran respectably when fourth at Newcastle on penultimate start, but turf form is modest, and opening handicap mark demands considerable improvement.
Slow starts can prove his downfall, but ran well when second twice over C&D in August, Poor form since, but asked a very stiff question last time, and is capable of bouncing back.
Has struggled to make an impact in handicaps this year, but mark is gradually falling to a more realistic level, and only beaten in a blanket finish at Beverley last time.
Her sole success came on soft/heavy ground over 5f at Tipperary in May. Not discredited when mid-field here on penultimate start, but ran poorly last time, and others more convincing again.
Back to form from reduced mark when ¾L second of 13 to Dr Doro in a C&D handicap last time, and he will be a big player with a repeat.
Front-runner who has been running respectably on the most part, and gain not discredited when third of 10 to Alaskan Bay in a 5f handicap at Wolverhampton last time. Shouldn't be far away.
Not been pulling up any trees of late, but possible he will do better having had wind surgery since finishing down the field at Nottingham last time.
Top rider booked, so a big run expected from this mare who hasn't been disgraced in recent start, and should strip fitter for a good fourth at Wolverhampton after a break last time.
Won twice at Hamilton in June, but he's been operating a notch below his best in recent starts, and is 1lb out of the handicap now.
Has won twice over 6f here, but below form on most recent course visit, and has a bit to prove after finishing down the field twice at Newcastle.
Only poor these days, and has been out of sorts for a while, so easy enough to swerve from out of the weights.
Have to go back over two years to find the last time he visited the winners enclosure and recent efforts don't suggest he's about to go back there any time soon.
Longstanding maiden who wasn't disgraced at Musselburgh in August, but has been soundly beaten on all three starts since.

PEARL NOIR has fallen to a lenient mark, and signalled his turn was near when second over C&D last time. He's preferred to Whispering Soul, for whom Serena Brotherton is a good booking, and Furni Factors, who is likely to challenge him for early supremacy.
