Landed this contest 12-months ago off a 2lb lower mark. Lightly raced and recently missed a Group 2 contest because of the good to firm ground. Enters calculations.
Not seen since finishing fifth of 15 beaten 3L at Leopardstown 12-months ago. Fourth of 10 beaten 3¼L in this contest last year and holds an each way claim here.
Largely struggling at Listed and Group 2 level in recent times and hard to make a case for up in class here against these rivals given his exposed profile.
Hasn't won since winning a Group 3 on just his second start. Has run some respectable races in defeat in Group company of late and finished second in a Curragh handicap last month over 6f. Worth a market check.
Won 1¼m maiden at Chester in May and found further improvement to win at Newmarket in July. Has finished third in a couple of Group 3's recently and boasts similar claims here.
Newbury Group 3 winner earlier this year but struggled a little in deeper company until a solid effort when dropped back to Group 3 class at Tipperary. Out of his depth last time but holds better claims here.
Second to Gustav Klimt in the Leopardstown 2000 Guineas trial before landing a a Listed contest at Naas when last seen in May. Likely to go well once again.
Not hit the heights in three starts this season although set stern tests in first two contests. May struggle in this company.
Improving sort who was only 4¾L adrift of Alpha Centauri in the Irish 1,000 guineas in May before landing a Listed contest at the Galway festival this month. Beaten latest but entitled to make the shortlist here.
